Just when Fox’ about to become Wolf’s prisoner, suddenly…
???: Not so fast, Wolf!
Wolf: No, not you guys!
A red muscular dragon named Skyler shows up and right away punches Drago as soon as he was getting closer to attack.
Skyler: I don’t think so, little one, Kyle, Link!
As he calls them, Kyle, Link and Jerald enters the cave and right away they fight the bad guys. Kyle manages to get Fox away from Jason and wakes him up before falling to sleep.
Fox: …Kyle? It’s that you?
Kyle: Don’t worry, buddy, we’re here, go join Jerald, we’ll take care of the rest.
As Fox reaches to Jerald’s arms to stay safe, Kyle fights Jason while Link confronts Don Karnage.
Jason: Impeccable time, old buddy, you didn’t abandon the code of honor after all.
Kyle: You know me and the other guardians are tired Wolf and you attack visitors, you’re disturbing the balance of nature.
Jason: Hey! We’re just having fun; you think we intend to kill someone just for fun?
Kyle: By serving Wolf? You make me think you might someday. You were one of us, Jason, why you’re doing this?
Jason: Sorry, Kyle, but being a guardian that has to stay in the forest all the time it’s not my thing, this World’s so big enough to explore, and because Wolf gave me the chance, I have no choice, no hard feelings. Now, show me you still got the strength, deer boy, try not to stare at my navel.
Meanwhile, Link fights Don Karnage, and while Link has no weapon to counter, his quick reflexes allow him to dodge every swing.
Don Karnage: I see you haven’t change at all, forest guardian, I thought I’ll never see you again after you left.
Link: As long as mother nature it’s with me, I’ll never leave, this is my home, and the home for my friends too, including Fox, so you better know your place if you want to live!
Jerald: Wow! He’s so great!
Fox: Yeah, impressive!
Wolf: Dammit! You despicable meddling animals, I’m going to—
As he attempts to approach them and attack, Mr. Wolf stops him.
Mr. Wolf: No, Wolf, stop!
Wolf: *Snarls* And why the hell not?!
Mr. Wolf: *Shhh!* Listen, do you hear that?
As Wolf listens carefully, a howl can be heard from afar.
Fox: Oh dear, more baddies?
Kyle: *Chuckles* No, Fox, don’t worry, it’s Garth, he’s calling for help.
Link: Right on time, Garth!
Wolf: Shoot! Damn you, Garth…
Suddenly, Wolf stands up.
Wolf: ENOUGH!
Drago: My beautiful face…
Wolf: Oh, shut it, Drago! Now listen up, Fox, just for today, consider yourself lucky, you and your friends may leave, but mark my words, this is only the beginning, if you think you and your friends may leave the forest, consider your request denied. We’ll get you next time, and no salvation for you then. Now get out of here before I regret my decision.
Kyle: You heard it, boys, mission complete, let’s go!
Skyler: Well, it was so much fun, Drago, we should do this again someday, oh, and sorry for ruining your face, not sorry actually.
Drago whimpers while rubbing his cheeks.
After leaving the cave, Fox’ reunited with the others including Garth.
Fox: Thanks for your help, guys, sorry if I cause trouble to all of you.
Skyler: Nonsense, buddy! It was a big pleasure helping those in need. After all, we, the forest guardians have the code of honor we must respect it to keep the balance of nature intact.
Kyle: And what Wolf told you, don’t worry, we won’t let him keep you here forever.
Link: Yeah, in fact, to ensure you be ready in case he returns, we the forest guardians shall help you, sounds good?
Fox: Yeah, if Wolf’s going to be enemy, then I must be prepared.
Jerald: Yeah, and we’ll be there to get you ready, but for now, let’s all go back to our bedroom and rest.
Garth: Good idea, Jerald, you guys must rest after such exhausted day it has been.
And so, everyone returns to their place, as Fox has the feeling that the worst may come soon.
