at least in a entire layer of fur you wont get cold as fast as you would wearing normal clothes

while it must've looked odd to any neighbours (or not, depending on the neighbours), I really don't blame you for doing so. Snow, while awesome, means it's cold, and the more there is, the colder it is. Having a full body and full head fursuit is screams "Wear me!!! I'm WARM!!!" in that kind of weather! :D
