Yay, more crappy mousey digital coloring.
Anyone who played Tyrian before would see where this is from. Although the Gencore ships had a longer hull, I shortened it to a more stealth-strike fighter.
And yes, I played the game with a full Vulcan set, despite stressing the Gravitron Pulsewave and constantly punching the Phoenix's and Maelstrom's armor regenerator.
I think I'm the only one who still plays superior DOS games.

I used DOSbox. It emulated the soundblaster well enough, but I lost the original Tyrian file in the last disk crash.
All I can find now is the crappy 2K version. Frankly, I've never gotten very far in the 'neverending' bonus minigame, I'd like to god it and see just what the weapon will upgrade to.
And the Ale game too.

Well those minigames do have a tendency to get overwhelming REAL quick.
I forgot to mention my ship's configuration... as if you cared. :P I fly a Stalker 21.126 with all Zica - main gun and sidekicks. Yes I'm a Zica nut. Rear gun is my sonic wave. My special weapon can vary but I seem to prefer Flare. I've got the second best shield generator, still looking for that HXS class C.
My running score? 2,043,467 and climbing :P

I always kept the hot dog blasters at their max when I would get them. those things were really freakin' powerful when used correctly. of course I managed to get that Stalker with impossible-to-remember number set. I tell ya, that was a very fun game up until the extra episode they added in Tyrian 2000. that one got too hard too fast.
