Not long ago I heard the news that the government of Panama is helping one community of indigenous islanders relocate, due to the rising levels of water seriously threatening their homes. Couldn't quite catch the name of the island, but after some digging I found out that already in 2012 some communities had started relocating due to sea level rise linked to climate change. The news gave me pause.

News of increasing extreme weather activities are becoming less... "news". Up here in the mountains I saw the underbrush getting dry like never before. this summer.

I look and the sky now and wonder...
