Starmie has always been my favorite water pokemon. This is based on Misty who uses her Starmie in a race in episode 32 of the first anime series which I've recently been rewatching.
This drawing was something fun and light hearted I did for myself. It is a rare occasion when I hang a drawing on the wall but it just makes me happy when I see it and wish it were possible to dive into the pokemon world too.
On side note, this is the first new drawing I've done in months and seeing Javi again made me want to cry. Watching pokemon is helping inspire some ideas for future drawings too, Javi the pokemon trainer.

Thank you! Especially liked the watercolorish adjective. Also glad to read it was "unexpected". I like to try being a little bit diverse and the next couple of drawings won't be so cheerful so wanted to post this to balance it out.
I didn't really try to "make it perfect" like I usually do especially for colored drawings. In this case I was just having fun. ❤️

Yes! The design really fascinated me as a child and still does today!

Many times I look at what I've done and think no way I can do that again. But for now as I did with this drawing I will just try to have fun if the inspiration/motivation comes [more pokemon themed most likely though heh].

Lo curioso es que odio las aranas pero aun quiero mucho a mi Joltik, un amor que no tiene sentido(?) Es que mira su carita y como vibra de sobrecarga electrico. Y aun antes de que fuera nivel 100 me ayudo ganar muchas batallas dificiles!
