Cats and dogs share one critical aspect of pethood: the desire to chase things. They are selective (are dogs selective?) in their pursuits but nonetheless, they see shiny, they chase shiny.

And the person on the left is Ximata, Estim's soul twin. Void energy (explanation for another day! Ha!) cloned her from Estim's skin crispies or something similar, though the process wasn't exact so . . . some changes occurred.
