Running with a power plant, Internet via mobile tethering, so I can post this one - this will likely be my situation for a while. Last time, after Maria, took 0ver 30 days to restore the power in my area, and months to get internet back.

So yeah.

Scoradon was the 11th Kaiju in the Fireman TV series by order of appearance, been the monster of the week in Ep.11, Resurrecting the Rock Monster.

_Bio and Abilities_
Scoradon rested inside a volcanic rock that was disturbed by a the flow of water. In its Rock cocoon, Scoradon could manipulate the flow of water from a near by lake which was afflicted by Polly Water, creating tidal waves, one of which ended up drowning students; When out of its cocoon, Scoradon was particularly strong; it would fire an energy beam from the mouth, as well release vapors from its back, in between the scale plates; it also will use its tail as a whip.

Scoradon was referred to as a Rock Monster, a title he shared with Sadola from Return of Ultraman, and was describe as an Anklyosaur (I dunno how?); also its clips was among those use as stock footage in the early episode of Dinosaur Great War Izenborg; finally its roar is from Guiron of the Gamera Showa series.

_History_
A group of Students come study volcanic rocks near Lake Iwamiko, subject to a Damn Project, when they notice strange activity from a larger rock – an old photographer, Kana Takeshi, appears and warns them of the Water flowing upwards, but they ignore him; that night their camp is swept when the water flows upwards towards the rock, drowning four of the five students, leaving one Survivor. SAF comes to investigates and meet up with a photographer who has been witness to the strange happenings, while Misaki looks at the strange rock and finds the bodies of the four dead Students and investigation is launch with the police to find out what had happened, with water samples abruptly disappearing from the bottles; Mizushima concludes the culprit of the strange happenings is a substance called Polly Water, capable of breaking the natural flow and physics in the water.

Back in the lake, Takeshi sees this first hand, when the water again flows up the shore in a flowing tide. Later tests, confirm the presence of the Polly Water and SAF seeks the Science Center to come up with the solutions. Mizushima and Misaki return to the Lake and talk with the foreman of the Dam Project and learn of the Pollyder, meanwhile, the calming Substance is ready to deploy on the Marine Buru (the 2nd Aircraft); Takeshi then meets up with Misaki and Mizushima just as the lake begins to react once more, and the flow of water goes up the shore and into the rock, awakening Scoradon from its long slumber. Mizushima and Chiba try to it take it down, but their aircraft weapons have no effect; Misaki awakens and transforms into Fireman to face the new threat, just before Chiba tries to kamikazee onto the Kaiju.

Fireman tries to put the Scoradon down, but is repelled by its energy blast; when Fireman jumps onto it, the monster tries to take him of its back by blasting vapor from between the scales as well as tail whip. Fireman then stuck two pieces of rock onto it; one in the back and the other onto its mouth. Fireman then grabs and tosses the Monster; finally he finishes Scoradon off with a FireFlash attack, decapitating it, the rest of the body falls after a few steps and explodes.

Chiba is then able to drop the Calming Substances onto the lake, putting an end to the Polly Water problem. Later, Takeshi is please to see that the lake is back to its natural state.
