Faye was (mostly) spayed today!

Good news is there won't be any puppies in her future. The bad news is that she woke up a bit and fussed around which caused one of her ovaries to detach and get lost. The vet did not want to risk keeping her opened up to 'dig around' for it, and opted to close her up.

Unfortunately this means she will go into heat, and will have to undergo another surgery at a later date to have the remaining ovary removed.

Vet said she looks very healthy, and guesses her age to be around 6 months. Which means she will likely be pretty stunted growth wise due to the malnutrition she had early on in life... which, is sad. Poor girl :(

But also means she will likely forever look like a gangly puppy and to be honest I'm okay with that haha
