I've always wanted to explore old, abandoned places like this, especially with all the antiques my mom has in her house.

i have a small collection of odd and morbid treasures signs pressure gauges books etc haha even have a few surgical tools

Lovely! I love that kind've stuff! I think the most morbid things we have are used, antique syringes and needles. Oh! And a super-old dentist drill with all the bits. I think that's my favorite. My mom also has a few old hospital amenities, like hand-held urinals and bed pans, which are set up all nice in her bathroom. XD

same here! things made back in the day lasted longer than the sutff we make today. I have WWII scale ships in their origional boxes (they were used to help seamen at the time to identify freind and foe ships and were also used on maps of oceans to relatively locate these ships) and i have tons of military surplus such as a american korea helmet, romaian SKS stock and gas tube cover, ammo can and round fromWWII

Sad thing is that ECT was effective on the neurological level. Pity they don't use it anymore.

they still do in exteme cases of depression

I used to work at a psych hospital, and we had ECT (electro convulsive therapy) treated patients. Though they didn't do it anymore, it reportedly really helped them out (this was for schizophrenia, violence, etc).

Ah ok no i'm talking medically in general electro shock therapy is still used only for extreme cases of depression that may lead to suicide or such. After all other means are explored assistance therapy drugs etc
