If I post this sketch of
Sulacoyote's character, I'll be more likely to finish it! Still got a few images to do.

Yeah, this is a sketch starting in Photoshop.
This page has some animations of my workflow, although it's all kinda screwy and messy, but I should be able to upload an animation of this image's stages when I'm done.
Around my sketches you'll find other walkthroughs. I also update a journal entry on here with random tips. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Ah, this is flaming good! I love that orangey red you have in the background, with that splash of white behind the fellow it seems like he's just escaped from an inferno of sorts (or a waterfall of molten rock!).
Oh, I do have a thing for sketches (and generally 'unfinished' projects), they always look so wild and dynamic! Especially with your style, which I find wonderfully alive already. Man, those hints of detail you have really stand out! the armband and snout, ha! Absolutely astounding! I cannot wait to see the finished product~

Fantastic! I adore the colours you used here. Positively radiant, they are. I must say I enjoy the static noise feel in the background, really helps break up the monotonous feeling of an empty background.
Also, your method of building up your painting intrigues me a lot. Just in comparing the very raw-feeling unfinished left hand to more refined area of the upper torso, I'm very interested to see how you work.
