After seeing the tv series The Sandman, we started to be really tickled by the idea of trying our hand at designing an incarnated concept like those of the Endless, but completely in our style. The idea of making a character based on the whole concept of sleep, dreams, and nightmares all in one seemed like a very fun challenge -- so we did it! Here's our Somnus, deity of Sleep, parent of the Oneiroi.
Every detail of his design has a reason to be there, and it was really interesting to do this. Who knows if Somnus will also find a place in some stories too ;)
