the oldest FF game ive played is 7.
i never heard of final fantasy 7 till like 10 was out.
so far ive played (but not beaten) FF7,8,10.
and yay its colored now

Yesh, I've been playing them since all the way back on the first cartridge. Honestly 7 was the last one I played. I could not get into the others, the character designs were off putting and the storylines honestly couldn't really hold a candle to the earlier ones. It's amazing how much more they could put into a 16 bit game and they still can't hold the same level of appreciation for the characters as they did back then.

nah, they're hard to get a hold of nowadays so I don't blame you. But I would say find a rom and play the hell out of them

Hell yeah, I love the fact that they brought out a new system to play the old cartridges instead of just letting it fall away. Unlike some people that liked retro to like retro I really do enjoy those ones so much better. The storylines while simpler were more engaging and in some cases even more epic. Take ten for example, most of the characters look like they got their wardrobe by slapping the shower curtain section together at walmart and most of them have the attitude of a twelve year old or an even whinier angstier version of a 16 year old.

Just like the expendables man, Terry Crews said it best when he said they were the ugliest cast ever assembled and shockingly their fanbase... was women, because they are tired of this wanky pretty boy heartthrob bullshit like things tend to gravitate towards nowadays. Keep it gritty, nasty, clunky and old school.

Anytime I hear limit break I think of leaping up with a Buster Sword and going BRAVER!!! God almighty people better be glad for anime laws of physics, because if they weren't restrained to it then there would be a whole lot of damage going on!
