~8" x 10". ink. 2005.
Drawn for a set of eight illustrations for the book "Black Iron" by Tim MacKinnon, as published by Sofawolf Publications, commissioned by
Sanguine Productions, Inc. and set in the Ironclaw world.
WONDERFULLY detailed, and the composition just comes together perfectly. Love the black shapes of the standing characters behind the character (protagonist?).
Great feelings in this one: The honest shock and hurt of the bunny boy vs. the detached bemusement and contempt of the upper-class twits around him. Strong piece!
So precise and elegant. Very fine work. The detail is so nice.
The contrast of emotion is strong and nice composition in placing the black so well as a backdrop for the bunny man.
