Sometimes, when Jodsha leaves with a new bodyguard and the estate is especially quiet, Ka'inena takes quick jobs to both keep her body and strength in peak shape, and to get a little extra pay on the side. Her recent job included walking up a huge hill to an old ruin to take out a couple of hostile hyena. After a long grueling hike up a hill and a fight that lasted but a fraction of that time, she finally had some time to rest. Realizing how calming her location was, she decided to sit down, take off her boots, and enjoy the scenery around her. She took a deep breath of the fresh air, the wind blowing through her fur, meditating on her day. She slightly wiggled and scrunched her toes, they were especially tired and sweaty from being in those boots for so long. She almost fell asleep from how peaceful it was, but as she was dozing off, she picked up her boots, placed them back onto her cooled paws, and walked down the hill back to pick up her gold for handling the situation
