The Mewtwo was just floating along the park path, with nothing but the warm sun and the peace and quiet around him. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a relaxing-
THOOOOM!!
Something very large and very heavy suddenly landed directly behind him, giving him quite a spook. Whatever it was, it kicked up a lot of dirt. He wasn't sure exactly what it was, as he was still a bit shaken, both from the noise and from the shock of the ground shaking momentarily. He glanced to either side. On his right was what appeared to be a gigantic thigh, propped on its knee, and covered by black warm-ups, and on his left, another one just like it, both of them larger than his entire body and having created craters on either side of the walkway.
There was someone really, really huge behind him, straddling him with their humongous body.
"Awww, a KITTY~" came a bubbly voice from behind him, seemingly high up.
'Wait... WHAT did she call me?' Shy thought to himself.
The huge Meganium continued to gush over him. "Oh he's so CUTE!" Amaranth cooed. "I just wanna take you home and show you to the girls! What's your name, hm?"
The Mewtwo looked up. His reply was delayed, as he was still bemused at both her size and the fact that she called him a "kitty". "U-uh... Sh... Shy?"
Amaranth laughed. "Hee hee! You sure ARE shy!" she giggled, making the Mewtwo blush a little. "SHY little kitty!"
Shy attempted to debunk the Meganium's "kitty" philosophy, but as he was still too startled to speak clearly, all he could muster was, "Uh... b-b-but I-"
Amaranth went on without letting him finish. "Oooooooh, you're so adorable when you're in denial! I just wanna gobble you up!"
The Mewtwo gulped, hoping she wasn't serious. "Uh... d-don't... p-please?" he tried to say.
"We'll seeeeee~" Amaranth replied with a sly look. "Aaaanyway, like I said, I'm taking you now. Stray kitties shouldn't be wandering the streets~"
"B-but I'm not in the stre-"
"Shush, now c'mere and let me pet you~"
Shy was certainly shushed all right. He could only stand there still processing what was even going on, even as Amaranth reached for him. It was almost as though her innocent ditzy approach was a psychological trap just to get him to stay still, which if that was the case, she had played him like a violin.
"You can call me Ammy, little kitty!" Amaranth went on. "Oh, and uh, you're all mine~"

. Shy ends up in the clutches of a rather possessive Amaranth.
Wow, talk about characters I haven't drawn in a spell. So, some of you who are longtime watchers might recognize this girl but also might be confused about her name. Yes, you knew this character as Tannis. I had been meaning to give her an update, including giving her a new name, but I never got around to it, that is until being asked to draw her in this commission.
So here she is, only now her name is Amaranth ("Ammy" for short), and I gave her some updates, including a hat (worn backwards because her antennae are in the way), the current medic variant of the Giga Force uniform, and more of a berry-red color for her hair and petals (it used to be the same maroon red as the G emblem and the red trim, which, fun-fact, is also the same red as my sona, but over time it didn't feel right).
