Description:
Despite being a mother of Krypto Milhausenburg, Kala actually resided in a rural town, just southeast of Oregon. Like her rebellious son, she was a passionate artist, but with her interest laid on a peaceful path. She led a time-consuming business on arts and materials, but it was simply just that. However, despite their opposing beliefs, they genuinely enjoyed each other's company, even after the passing of Krypton's father.

One day, Kala longed to see her son again, who was at the time staying in Santo Tomas in California, but what struck her the most was Krypto's incredibly muscular body seen on his rebel group page on social media. It also rekindled her former teenage dream of becoming a bodybuilder. But thankfully enough, because of her bringing up to Krypto several times before, he sent half of his earnings from the MALAKAS Project (he was honorably discharged from) to his mother, just few days before being banished into a mountainous mining town.

A week after having signed up for the said project, Kala was brought into the mountain base, where she would be assigned under Rosemary Soro's instruction. Although she didn't learn much about the project, Kala went along well with her instructor until she earned the temporary Juggernaut ability. In-between, she couldn't resist spending her freetime and weekends by painting, but by doing so outside her assigned bunker left her open to bullying or harrassment. Rosemary, sharing with the same hobby and concerned about such vulnerability, opted to teach her on self-defense, even past the training time. In fact, the Cranberry gang disapproved of this and filed a complaint to Soro's superior Christopher North a dozen times, but because of the gang's reputation of harassing and attacking whoever they wanted, their complaints were dismissed as plain petty and the restraint order was immediately put on the gang, forcibly distancing them from Kala's bunker.

The biggest catch besides painting was her very first participation in a bodybuilding contest. As redundant as it sounds for a mountain base populated with near-predominantly bodybuilder -like recruits, the contest was intentionally founded back in late November 2020, so as to help combat insecurity plaguing those wanting to feel relevant. Kala had a problem on her own since as a teenager, mainly due to societal pressure from both her family and peers. However, she willingly kept that part to herself, not wanting to make her own son feel bad, but Krypto's continuously loving assurances were enough to her overcome her personal issues. Every week she kept participating until the very last week of her stay, where she won in the first place.

Ever elated, back at home, Kala shared her news to Krypto, much to his joy. He in return explained his experience in an isolated mining town and met several friendly local girls, much to her relief.
