Confused? What is this Saint Nicholas Day I speak of?
On the night of December 5th, you are supposed to put out special stockings or special shoes, not the kind you wear, out and Saint Nicholas will fill them with treats, nuts, coins, and other goodies if you were good all year, if not, you get sticks, twigs, coal or NOTHING. People don’t know where this holiday started. Many think it began in Russia, the Dutch think it started in Spain, but there is no real way to find this out because it has been lost throughout the ages.
