A lineage, not a race itself, but there is little else to classify it as since even the lineages from Ravenloft are listed as races.
This little treat is good to stack on other races, changing them up severely, but the long and short of it is that these are creatures with a dark side, literally.
They have become infused with shadows to the point that they can turn into living shadows themselves for a time.
