I finally made a model of Edragon under the effects of a balloon potion in blender. Also revamped my plaza location.
Normally I wouldn't upload different renders of the same scene but I really liked this angle. Really captures his Balloon-ness.
(Short Story)
Edragon was at his favorite park plaza. It wasn’t too far from his castle and there was hardly ever anyone else there. It was his go to spot to inflate and drink various potions. Today he was going to drink one of his famous Balloon potions.
Edragon popped the cork off the potion and drank the pink liquid. Soon after finishing it he dropped the bottle to the ground as his entire body started to gently inflate like a balloon. Any kind of movement became troublesome as helium worked its way into every inch of his body. Edragon grew steadily bigger, rounder, lighter, and more balloon like every passing second. Moments later he could barely even waddle as his limbs filled up and conformed to his round body becoming taut down to his fingers and toes, which had started to engulf his claws. He felt his tail suddenly push against the ground as helium caused it to straighten out, almost knocking him onto his belly! Edragon was looking down, watching his body expand until his belly pushed against his chin as it continued to blow up. Then he felt the strange sensation of his inflated feet starting to lift from the ground as he began to float away. After a couple minutes, Edragon was so completely round and taut, the only thing he could move was his eyes to glance around, but his cheeks where so inflated they blocked most of his lower field of view. Helium continued to balloon Edragon for a little while longer as he gently floated upwards.
After the 3 minutes, the helium ceased invading Edragon’s body. His ballooned form rocking gently in the breeze as he lifted further into the air. The potion would keep him like this for 30 minutes. And so, all he could do was relax and enjoy.
