When I started drawing the outline of the dragon my first inspiration was to draw a dragon looking into the sky at night watching the stars. But then I changed my mind ^^ Snow can be something beatiful for a dragon and because of the cold weather outside in south germany ... well that´s the result.

It also was somehow a new experiment in coloration for me: The dragon was colored with polychromos and terpentine (mainly because of the great silver glitter effect you unfortunately can not see on the scan^^) and the background was done with Acryl.
