Raharu was just binge watching some late night tv when all of a sudden a brand new commercial appeared on the screen. At first Raharu thought the hypnotic swirling screen was just part of a gimmick but then realized a little too late that it was the real deal as his mind slowly but surely became numb and receptive to any given hypnotic suggestion. Shortly after, the familiar and infamous face of Ricky the Rubber Rocket Rattata appeared on the screen, his sinister eyes sporting similar hypnotic looking revolving rings as they stares directly into those of Raharu. The Rubber Rattata then told Raharu that he wanted to serve Team Rubber Rocket more than anything else and help them in their mission to convert everyone into Rubber Rockets to help take over the world. Immediately the words etched themselves into Raharu’s brain and became truth, unquestioned and absolute, and Raharu repeated his new mission still dazed but with conviction nonetheless. The image of Ricky then commanded Raharu to touch the screen, and to embrace the changes that came with it, both in body and mind. Obediently obeying, Raharu did so, and could feel strange energy coursing through the screen, and then the changes the image of Ricky spoke of began, first his hand became caked in a thick sludgy goop and then it started spreading to other parts of his body. The hypnotic suggestion programmed into him earlier squelched his natural fear instinct and he instead embraced them as he was told, he could feel new thoughts filling his mind, crafty, sneaky thoughts, thoughts of recruits as many people into Team Rubber Rocket as possible, and of gorging himself on pizza and donuts whenever possible. The goop that spread to his face began to resemble that of the Rattata on the screen’s more and more by the second, the Team Rubber Rocket signature red R appears on his chest, his paws became smooth, shiny, and squeaky, followed by a very familiar barcode that began to form. The face on the screen, still pulsing with hypnotic energy, smiled as the transformation was almost complete, and then Team Rubber Rocket’s newest recruit would soon return to base to join the rest of his brethren.
