Eleve is one of Erika’s classmates in school, and probably the brightest student in their year. Unlike Erika, Eleve enjoys school and performs extremely well in it, and just to irk Erika even more, not only is Eleve a lot taller than her, but she also wears huge platforms that make her even taller by comparison.

Does Eleve have any specific reason for wearing the platforms? I imagine it's not something she does to intentionally tease Erika, heh. Does she enjoy the extra height? Is it nice to feel a direct connection to nature of a sort (assuming they're plant-based materials)? Are they a gift from an important person? Do they just suit her fashion sense better than going barepawed?
Just wanting to wear them is a pretty reasonable reason! I'd gotten the impression Eleve's relationship with Erika was almost entirely "I really wish she'd just stop throwing things at me/breaking my things," but after enough of that over time I guess a bit of wanting to tease back might slip in.
