This is Yeem Killjoy, a once human who underwent extensive and incredibly invasive surgery on his home planet of Canopus. There he was one of the lead enforcers of the Nearlight Dance, a casino on that planet. Shady deals, attempted war crimes and a whole lot of pirate blood made him jump onto the closest vessel with his mech in tow and headed towards the Dawnline Shore with stolen Manna. But he only had enough to make it to Hell's Gate, a forgotten and crumbling space station that only exists because of a star system survey error.

Offering his skills as a Lancer to the station, he was accepted and given a bunk and some minor living space with 3 other Lancers. Taking up the callsign "Vudkolak" he now works with his team to fend off pirates, helping with the station repairs and trying to stay alive.

Vudkolak was taking a break from working on "Blot on the Landscape" when he was interrupted by another technician who was collecting photos for the board. Seeing as they were being persistent and Yeem was already in trouble for a tool dispute he acquiesced.... kinda
