Drew this while watching West Side Story tonight. First time I'd seen it. The juxtaposition of the intense streetlife and the silliness of the dancing and signing was a wonderful experience. The drama of it all, worth the watch. But I ain't here to review a movie from the '60s. I'm here to tell ya about this drawing of my fursona in front of a brick wall. Been thinking about somebody lately. IDK if we'll ever talk again, for better or for worse, but there she is on my mind. Maybe its her that I chose the background for. I didn't intend this figure piece to have a background when I drew it, but then I figured what the hey, the last one turned out good when I added the city behind. Maybe she's the reason I added the lost cat poster. I hadn't really considered till now, just seemed like the correct thing to add. Speaking of the correct thing to add, I'd seen a video recently where someone was restoring a '50s window fan and it was just then I learned that big fans in the space that was once a window is a thing that has been done so here we are with that ventilation duct that used to be a window!
Shall we add a "steal her look"? ok. here we go:
FMC black leather motorcycle jacket
Screen-printed Gilden Women's V-neck tee
Levi's with just a skoosh more room (that's the good womens ones) with added belt-flap and leg-seam trim
converse, probably. I'd wager dark red.
