He's probably one of the hottest dragons I've seen from Nintendo (barring Pokémon) and the reason I actually got a Ring-Con! And he's just so damn sexy throughout the game! How could anyone not love him (especially after that sweet epilogue from the game)?!

I remember seeing a fanart of a corrected version, with a proper head with a snout (a circle plus a rectangle), as a dragon "must" have, also the fact of other fanarts, even NSFW, where artists give him a snout (and I'm pretty sure it's not only due to the "artist's style", because an egg shape is much easier).
