Its certainly an interesting film and lives in a grey area of films now where clearly the use of changing a persons face/race is justified by the plot but still might be in bad taste. Although most bond films live in a grey area of bad taste nowadays. I am not sure the plot is that strong though it seemed more like an excuse for showing off the landscape but great set pieces at the end.

We just love seeing Blofeld at the end and the iconic invasion of the volcano lair ^^. Every Bond film directed by Lewis Gilbert inevitably has Bond and a small army take on the bad guys and their militia XD

Blofeld's cat did NOT like the pyrotechnics. Poor kitty flipped out and dug its claws into Donald Pleasence. He still remained in character despite the claws.
