Welp - this is for my friends, watchers, and TMNT Fans! Over on DA there has been a lot going on, so I'll add my description to the meaning of this pic here:
Okay. This is my holiday pic for TMNT fans, friends, and watchers.
I've overheard there's been a lot of drama in the TMNT fandom, and frankly it's both frightening and sad (sad in a heartbreaking kind of way). Which is kind of why I have been teetering on and off from the fandom as a whole.
Fandom is about having FUN with it. Everyone's preferences should be welcomed. Do you have to like them? No. But at least respect them. If you take a fandom way too seriously, it's not going to be fun anymore.
I like TMNT because I enjoy TMNT. I focus on how the series is and I respect people/artists and their preferences for the fandom.
Honestly - instead of fighting (about OC, t-cest, anything non-canon overall...), can't we have it where we can get along because we enjoy TMNT as is instead of worrying about peoples personal preferences and judging people harshly for that?
I'd rather make more friends than enemies. So frankly, I'm in the middle party.
S-so yeah. I just thought I'd mention my thoughts even though I don't want to get myself involved in the drama. I have far more important things to worry about in my life.
