Anita is a squirrel.

I didn't want to bring them back because it ruins the Mages Guild War storyline as the extinction of the squirrels was the reason the Pussyfoots started the war with the Mages Guild because the endling was killed by them under their watch. If they come back, there's no reason for them to fight.

I was forced to bring them back.

EDIT: I decided to not make her canon. It would ruin the Mages Guild War by giving the Pussyfoots no good reason to fight as the original reason is the death of Lady N, the endling of their race. I don't hate them.
