Apparently kids have been especially negatively affected by the lockdown. That made me sort of upset and initially I wanted to do a piece of artwork that made fun of that but I realized it would probably do an illustration that would seriously demonstrate the impact of the pandemic. So that's the left drawing. Then I got upset and decided to do vent art anyway in the style of my original idea so that is what the right drawing is.
The drawing on the left is objectively better, it has a clear concept, solid construction and a healthy amount of referencing. The one on the right is okay, I think it is sort of bad. I don't really know what I was trying to say with it.
