Conveniently inconvenient, outside view.
Another crazy idea I had after a good night sleep. What if the costume was that massive, e.g. a voluminous tail and mane, that the wearer needs a shopping cart to move on? Ignore the lock on the back of the suit, it is... erm... an... an accessory. Nothing to worry about.

Really like the idea. Maybe because I myself really like suits with extra long hair/mane. Although I think it fits well with Pinkie pie, especially if we could use the mane as a backpack, since Pinkie is known to hide basically anything in her mane.

This idea is genious. I had a different plan though: after Cozy Glow will have taken over the power in the village...

Cozy Glow intensifies the ponyfication to that point that all ponysuits have the enlargement of mane and tail when they step over the boundaries of the village. The loose ponies will get stuck in bushes, branches and thorns, the suit will be undamagable, of course and with that mass of a mane it is impossible for the ponies to hide inside any houses because they can't pass through any doors. The suit will activate an alarm and a tracer signal and the pony stable security service will bring the lost ponies back 'home'.
