fuzzballfox was doing peoples characters for minecraft. This isnt just a neat picture, its a real skin I'm using in minecraft. Shi is doing characters for only $2.50 Shi did this in less then 20 min on watchtail. If you wanted to look different on minecraft, if you play it, then you might wanna give hir a page!

how do you add the extra graphics? i thought it was only possible to add to the core figure

Skins have a "hat" layer, which is the only place transparency is allowed. It floats slightly "around" the head, here used for ears and hair.

I've made a couple skins myself, but they're not this good. ^_^;;

I'd only be interested if the actual model could be changed for the player avatar. Despite the charm of of the 8 bit and everything being blocky, I always felt a little disappointed by just how limited the graphics are.

Well its part of the charm of the game, and if the graphics were much more detailed then the game area would be much smaller. Its listed that the world size can be up too 8 times the surface of the earth.

Well, they could upgrade the graphics just a little bit, enough that when I put on armor the character didn't look like a walking block of metal.

I'm not totally sure, the person created it with a minecraft skin editor, but after its created you just goto the minecraft webpage and log in and there you can upload your skin, and it will be that when ever you log on.
