A Girl's Night Out
A commission for
PrincessFantasyStar of two of their girls Lucy and Lola going for a girls night out with Lucia with a... interesting development
The sun had just fallen on the city, making the city begin to brighten up and burst with life. The lopunny Lola and the ninetales Lucy were currently strolling through the neighborhood to pick up a little friend of theirs for a girl’s night out. They weren’t too far from the house they were heading towards already.
“Gonna have to avoid calling Lucia Lucy with you around,” Lola awkwardly chuckled as they strolled down the street.
“I’m mainly here to prevent the city from getting crushed under two giant lopunnies,” Lucy replied as they arrived in front of Lucia’s house.
“Heh, yeah that’s fair,” Lola awkwardly chuckled as she rubbed the back of her head, “Especially when… one of us can’t control our sizeshifting powers so easily.”
They casually strolled up to the front door before Lola gave it a nice, hard knock. What followed was the sound of something falling and an awkward, femine chuckle behind the door, confusing the two IMMENSELY over it.
“Uhhh… are you okay in there?” Lucy asked in a concerned tone, “You sound like you’re… slipping all over the place.”
“I-I only tripped is all!” the female voice echoed, “I-I’m just trying to find my glasses!”
“Well we’re ready when you are!” Lola exclaimed, “Just try and be-”
Soon they heard the sound of someone’s head bashing against a shelf followed by a groan of pain. Lola and Lucy awkwardly looked at each other as they patiently waited for Lucia to come outside to meet them.
“J-Just give me a minute guys!” the voice exclaimed from behind the door, “I-I just got out of the shower and stuff!”
“Looks like she lost track of time in said shower,” Lucy thought as they awkwardly stood around the front door.
“Or we were faster than even we expected,” Lola awkwardly mumbled as she saw they were about fifteen minutes early.
They waited out there for at least ten minutes just goofing off on their phones or something before out came the lopunny Lucia after AGES of her fumbling around her house. She didn’t even dress differently than normal and that double confused them when they finally saw her.
“S-Sorry about that,” Lucia awkwardly chuckled as she closed the front door behind her, “I misplaced one of my piercings and my glasses again.”
“Hey don’t worry about it!” Lola smiled as she patted Lucia on the back, “We were a little early anyways.”
“You should definitely stop misplacing your accessories and whatnot though,” Lucy remarked as they walked towards the sidewalk, “If you lost your glasses and piercings.”
“Yeah I knoooow,” Lucia blushed as she brushed her ears back like they were pigtails. “It’s just really hard toooooo when you’re as blind as me without your glasses.”
They girls began to walk off into the city without a care in the world however. They had the mentality of, “the past is in the past,” and just wanted to have fun that night. They had this plan in the works for weeks now after all.
An hour or so later…
The three were currently strolling through the streets while trying not to get separated in the crowds. They were currently shopping around for a while on Lucy’s tab. So far they had only bought a few pieces of clothes and were just coming into another clothing store.
“They just run out of everything my size,” Lola sighed as Lucia opened the door for them, “Seems I’m almost too skinny.”
“Hey, we'll find something for you soon!” Lucia smiled as they walked inside, “It just takes a little time when lots of folks are shopping is all!”
The store was vast and brightly lit. There were dozens of people running up and down the clothing aisles to find something fun to wear. They were certain they could find something Lola would enjoy or at least fit in there.
“Let’s just look around a little then,” Lucy remarked as they entered a whole store section filled with dresses, “Since after this we’re heading to the movies.”
“I reeeeeally hope so!” Lola remarked as she began to look around the dress racks, “I want a cute little souvenir from our shopping!”
They looked around for a bit at the dresses and stuff. Didn’t find much at first, but Lucia found a dynamax red dress that was PERFECT for Lola’s size, making her ears perk up as Lucia came rushing towards her.
“Oh my god Lola you HAVE to try this on!” Lucia exclaimed as Lola took it out of her grasp, “You’d look amazing in it!”
“O-Oh you sure?” Lola stuttered as she examined the dress, “I’ve never worn something like this before.”
“I say GO for it!” Lucia smiled as she looked around a bit for herself, “There’s a first time for everything!”
“If you say so,” Lola awkwardly chuckled.
Lola would walk towards the fitting rooms with a bright blush while the other two would sift through the racks for more clothes as Lola would look at the dress, her face almost as red as it as she looked at it.
“I’ll send pictures first,” she thought as she began to take off her top.
A few minutes later…
Lucy and Lucia had a few other shirts and stuff to try on now and Lola was still in the fitting room after all of that. Both were honestly confused that Lola still hadn’t come back outside after this long.
“Uh… are you okay in there Lola?” Lucy asked curiously as she clung to some clothes.
“Y-Yeah I am,” Lola replied awkwardly, “J-Just… let me know what you think.”
As soon as they said that, Lucia got a text on her phone from Lola. She quickly pulled it up to reveal a selfie of Lola in the dress, cheeks red and trying to keep a straight face and the two couldn’t help but to LOVE the photo to death!
“Lola you look amazing in that dress!” Lucia exclaimed while looking at the room Lola was in.
“Honestly I don’t see why you were so embarrassed,” Lucy remarked as they heard the faint shuffling of clothes, “You look stunning in it!”
“I-I just wasn’t sure,” Lola stuttered as she began to change clothes, “I’ve never worn a dress like this before.”
“Don’t sweat it,” Lucy shrugged, “Your choice to buy it or not.”
After another few minutes of waiting around Lola came out of the fitting room in her normal clothes and clinging to the dress in her arms, giving them an awkward smile as they looked at her casually, yet excitedly.
“I-I think I’ll get it,” Lola remarked, “I-I do need some spare dresses after the past few… incidents.”
Lucy knew EXACTLY what she was talking about and Lucia was red in the face over it. She couldn’t help but to recall the dozens upon dozens of spontaneous macro growth incidents that the ninetales had to fix in recent memory alone. Lucia meanwhile had situations like that all the time at complete random.
“Let’s just hope we don’t bump into a dynamax energy well tonight,” Lucy groaned, “That’d be billions of dollars of damage to deal with.”
“We’re doing the best we can,” Lola chuckled awkwardly, “But you never know what’ll happen.”
“Yeah, so don’t worry about it,” Lucia blushed as they began to turn towards the front, “Well burn the bridges when we come to them.”
“I’m trying not to,” Lucy remarked begrudgingly as she pulled out her wallet.
They slowly walked up to the front to pay for all the clothes. The line was fairly long, but payment was quick. They soon left the store so they could move onto the next part of their night.
An hour and a half later…
The girls were now currently sitting at an outdoor pizza parlor. They had ordered some pizza for dinner before they’d decide to go see a movie or something. Currently the lopunnies were HUNGRY beyond compare while Lucy was just casually waiting while sifting through her phone without a care.
“How much longeeeer?” Lucia groaned as her stomach gave a light grumble.
“We still have another eight minutes or so,” Lucy sighed, “Just hope the drinks and the free refill help you last.”
“I hope so,” Lola sighed, “I had too small of a lunch today to wait much longer.”
“I just hope this fills you up enough for the movie after this,” Lucy thought as she glazed back down at her phone.
Time passed on at a grueling pace for some time after that little chat, but eventually they got their pizza after they each got a refill. The lopunnies were gorging on the food while Lucy casually ate the piece she took.
“Good thing I ordered 2 pizzas,” she thought as she watched them, “They’re devouring that pizza like they were snorlaxes.”
“Mmmmmf we can’t help it!” Lola smiled with a mouthful of pizza.
“I had to rush since you got here early too!” Lucia continued.
They simply just continued to eat away at their food without a care in the world for a while. After around a half hour or so they finished eating and were packing up to go to the movie they had planned out for the night.
“That feels muuuuch better,” Lola said with a sigh of relief.
“I feel like I ate a buffet,” Lucia sighed as she patted her belly.
“Well you kinda did,” Lucy remarked as she glanced over the receipt, “You two nearly ate a whole pizza each. I only had like… 2 slices.”
“H-Heheh… sorry about that,” the two awkwardly chuckled as they strolled through the streets.
They were once again caught in crowds even bigger than before. The sky was dark and the lights were even brighter in the buildings. There were even a few jumbo screens with fashion and movie ads popping up here and there, getting them more psyched for their movie.
“We’re seeing a romantic comedy right?” Lucia asked curiously as they turned a corner.
“Yeah we are,” Lucy remarked as they looked around the plaza.
However what followed was ultimately bizarre. They came to a crowd huddled around a spilled tanker truck crashed into a public bus stop. Police were ascertaining the situation, but the contents of the tanker were leaking from the back. The trio was a bit baffled by it.
“Wonder who lost control of that beast of a truck,” Lola remarked as they came a bit closer to it.
“More likely that their brake or something broke during a drive,” Lucy remarked, “And they just had to veer there to prevent a bigger wre-”
As Lucy was saying that she slipped on a puddle of the mystery liquid the wreck produced as shown by the small trail leading towards a holl in the back, covering her butt in the stuff while the lops helped her up as she flicked off whatever was off of her hands like she was drying her hands.
“Are you gonna be okay Lucy?” Lola asked, concerned, “That didn’t look all too fun.”
“I’ll be fine, “she grumbled as they began to alter course, “Luckily we have extra clothes from the shopping I can change into.”
They casually walked away from the crash site, Lucia and Lola looking back at it curiously as they thought about what that weird liquid was.
“Wonder what it was carrying though,” they thought simultaneously.
They were now taking a quick pit stop at a nearby convenience store not too far from the wreck as Lucy pulled out a fresh dress from the bags. However something wasn’t sitting quite right inside her as they came up to the doors, which were looking a bit shorter to Lucy.
“Just go into the bathroom and try to be quick,” Lucia remarked as they took the bags from Lucy.
“We don’t wanna be late,” Lola remarked as the doors opened for Lucy, who looked a bit taller than normal.
What followed when the doors closed behind Lucy could only be described as… an experience. Within seconds her body was surging bigger and bigger, her clothes tearing against her expanding figure. The others awkwardly watched from outside, now knowing what that tanker was lugging around.
“Guess that’s what the tanker was lugging around,” They awkwardly mumbled in unison as Lucy’s tails broke through the windows, “Growth serum.”
Lucy soon erupted from the building, now covered in broken debris and rags that were once her clothes when the sudden growth spurt stopped. She would look down at the two with a disappointed look on her face as she sat there awkwardly.
“I think we’ll have to see a different movie tonight,” Lucy boomed with a voice as strong as a bomb, “I don’t think I’ll fit in the theater.”
“Yeeeeeah probably,” Lucia awkwardly replied as she looked up at the ninetales.
“Want me to try and get you something to cover yourself until this stuff wears off?” Lola continued a little awkwardly.
“Yes please,” Lucy replied with her face as red as a tomato, “I don’t need people taking photos of me like this.”
