Yep, totally made up for the two Growlithe I fucked up on catching last time. :>
Every time I play FireRed, I can never wait to get to Celadon. It's like the Pokémon equivalent to Disneyland: it's The Happiest Place on Earth. Game Corner? The Department Store to end all stores? Eevee? FLY JUST TO THE WEST OF IT? Yep, this is the best place ever.
And I always consider it a crowning moment of awesome to get the Fly HM. It's a good-ish move in battle, but its field use is the best ever. <3

Indeed. 8D Although by the time it even fully evolves into the pseudo-Legend, I'll be right at the Elite Four's front door anyway. :I

I guess the advantage of Voltorb Flip is that it's impossible to lose anything. So if you worked hard enough at it, you could get a Dratini or something despite only having like 2,000 pokedollars. :U

I also had Nidoking and Gengar by the time I got to Whitney, so it wasn't a big deal, but hell if it wasn't satisfying beating the hell out of Voltorb Flip, then trolling her whiny ass with my shiny new Dratini.
