In the Battle Network universe, this was best demonstrated during the confrontations with Nebula where she would often use her navis in constant opposition to all other darkloids wherever they popped up. And even when not there, she's always willing to help out in whichever way possible. Zoey is just as loving & sisterly as one might expect from one raised by Juni & Palutena, often not hesitating to defend her friends & family when needed to do so. Despite this, she is often on the quiet side & doesn't really have much to say. Though when she does, it's often something important. She loves nights when the Full Moon is out, and in her spare time will often take up practicing the Mantis Style of martial arts. She however, is no fan of light pollution at all. The most knowledgeable on bats & mantises.
⦁ Abilities: Being 1/2 mermaid, Zoey is capable of taking on her mermaid form at any moment she enters the water. However, she tends to prefer doing so when the water is fresh, or seawater. More so, she prefers cleaner waters like the rest of her 1/2 merfolk siblings. Zoey is good with machinery & programming as she was able to construct & create her own PET & NetNavis without so much as a single instruction on how to do so. Zoey proves to be a skilled NetOp as she has no problem operating either her navis, or someone else's navi to the point they'll often be in full sync automatically. Zoey is also skilled at the Mantis style of martial arts & knows how to properly use the skills.
⦁ About # DarkNecrobat.EXE is one of the 2 Dark-Type netnavis created by Zoey to use around the household, and in the Battle Network universe. He was made from a darkness program Zoey's father had confiscated at one point, but forgot to delete, and so the data was used to give rise to her navis. DarkNecrobat.EXE was born from one half of this exact data. DarkNecrobat.EXE was modeled after the maverick he was named for, but with some notable differences. While his monocle is retained, it now has a black frame instead of a silverish frame. His ears & snout appear more realistic, and his arms & legs are made to resemble a typical NetNavi's, but with his feet retaining the bat's gripping toes. The maverick symbol on his "belt" is replaced with his navi mark; which is basically inspired by Batman's symbol, but with visible fangs & eyes where the head would be. Finally, his wings appear natural instead of looking mechanical. While in the Battle Network universe; as his operator was too old to be a student, he acted as one of many battle instructors for Class 5-A (The same class Ms. Mari teaches and that Zoey's parents were enrolled to help her teach). DarkNecrobat.EXE was the one to have been used the most extensively, helping those learn how to properly handle enemies who can't be hit with anything but swords. During the Nebula incidents, he wound up overseeing an unfriendly rivalry in ShadeMan.EXE, telling him that there's "not room in cyberspace for 2 Vampire Navis!" among many other things. However, the first two times the darkloid was met, he never got the chance to delete him personally due to Seraphim.EXE chasing him off the 1st time, and due to MegaMan.EXE deleting him on the 2nd encounter with a dark chip he & Lan had in possession of at the time. It was not until the final assault on Dr. Regal's Dark Chip factory that DarkNecrobat.EXE was finally able to get his long awaited fight with ShadeMan.EXE & put him down personally, ending their rivalry. Even so, DarkNecrobat.EXE is always ready to help out when he is needed. Despite his vampiric appearance, DarkNecrobat.EXE is a gentleman at heart & unlike his original counterpart, he is loyal to his friends & is an obedient soldier, making him a true team player. This does not however change the fact that he can be quite aggressive during battles on occasion. DarkNecrobat.EXE enjoys the night & likes to listen to the sounds associated with it. He does not however, like the company of Darkloids; viewing them as soulless aberrations. What really annoys him however is when someone calls him DarkDizzy.EXE. As his dark-typing would suggest, DarkNecrobat.EXE is programmed to be able to safely use Dark Chips without suffering their ill side effects whatsoever. For instance, he can use a Dark Sword & Dark Cannon, and he will not permanently lose 1 point of health. Chips listed as evil are also available to him as well as a result. Any chips labeled as evil chips are also freely available to him as a result, so all this makes DarkNecrobat.EXE a force to be reckoned with. His abilities & attacks are as follows.
⦁ Dark Power: DarkNecrobat.EXE harnesses the power of darkness in a positive way, allowing him to safely use Dark Chips without ill side effects, and can make use of Evil Chips right off the bat.

⦁ Float Shoes: DarkNecrobat.EXE is immune to the effects of negative panels.
⦁ Shadow Shield: DarkNecrobat.EXE surrounds him in a veil of shadow that makes him immune to all but sword attacks for 3 turns.
⦁ Dark Shield: DarkNecrobat.EXE puts up a shield that makes him immune to attacks for 5 hits.
⦁ Echolocation: DarkNecrobat.EXE activates a natural sonar immediately after he's been afflicted with blindness, or the opponent turns invisible. This allows DarkNecrobat.EXE to hit invisible foes without cursor attributed attacks & allows him to detect his foes simply by sound alone.
⦁ Sonic Shot: DarkNecrobat.EXE's basic attack. He fires off a small pulse shot down his current row.
⦁ Sonic Pulse: Charged version of Sonic Shot. This fires a much larger pulse shot that has a chance to cause confusion, paralysis, or even blindness. Dark-Type.
⦁ Black Swarm: DarkNecrobat.EXE closes his wings, then opens them back up again to release 6 small bats to travel down the targeted rows. Should he be in the center row however, he may instead launch a swarm of 20 bats down that row. Dark-Type.
⦁ Summon Batty: DarkNecrobat.EXE closes his wings as he does for Black Swarm. However, he may instead summon 3 Batty viruses to help him in his battles. Sometimes he'll instead call upon Fatty viruses, and on very rare occasions he'll summon a Gnarly virus.
⦁ Dark Wave: DarkNecrobat.EXE kicks up a wave of dark power that travels down his current row. Sometimes he'll charge the attack up to have it go down all 3 rows, or 2 rows if he's on the top, or bottom row, respectively.
⦁ Blood Sucking: DarkNecrobat.EXE leaps up high enough to the point he cannot be attacked at all, then dives down at a targeted enemy. Should he connect with his target, he will grab them, and then bites down on the target, draining their HP to restore his own. He will not use this if he hasn't been hit yet, and will usually makes 3 to 5 dives in his attempts to grab an enemy. If used on a DS navi, the navi will either be cured, or instantly deleted depending on the situation.
⦁ Dark Sonar: DarkNecrobat.EXE launches 3 large sonic waves down 2 rows, or all 3 if he uses it in the center row. Dark-Type. This instantly removes invisibility.
⦁ Battarang: DarkNecrobat.EXE removes his wings & launches his wings in a boomerang fashion with one going down, and one going up. Dark-Type.
⦁ Dark Hold: DarkNecrobat.EXE's ultimate attack. After putting up a dark aura, he will begin charging up power for 7 seconds. If he succeeds, he will instantly freeze time; including the custom gauge for 7 additional seconds. While his foes are frozen, he will usually follow up immediate with another random attack. Those on his side of the field are not affected.

And while retaining the original's slimness, his body is stream lined like MegaMan.EXE's for example, with his arms & legs matching. He even uses his wings to be able to fly. The lens on his chest instead houses his navi mark; which is basically 2 black mantises fighting one another. His scythes are also not present 24/7 as he is able to disperse & summon them onto his arms when they are needed in combat. While in the Battle Network universe; as his operator was too old to be a student, he acted as one of many battle instructors for Class 5-A (The same class Ms. Mari teaches and that Zoey's parents were enrolled to help her teach). While DarkMantis.EXE was not extensively used in battle instructions, he did at least act as a test for some navis to hone their battle skills (They simply had to survive against DarkMantis.EXE), and many of them passed his test in survival. During the Nebula incidents, DarkMantis.EXE put his skills of darkness to really good use. He often proved a key player in many liberation missions as he acted as a scout in the darkness. Unlike DarkNecrobat.EXE however, he did not oversee a rival in any of the Darkloids as he was simply more concerned with "snuffing their soulless lives out" rather than having a rival. He did admittedly however, oversee a friendly one with ShadowMan.EXE as both acted as assassins. Even so, DarkMantis.EXE is open about lending a helping hand should his services be needed. Though DarkMantis.EXE appears intimidating & has the heart of a killer, he is still nonetheless a jovial & friendly navi whose loyalty to friends & allies is without limit. He can however, be rather shady at times. In his spare time, he likes to hone in on practicing Mantis martial arts (Befitting as he himself is one), but he shares DarkNecrobat.EXE's dislike for Darkloids since he calls them "Devils incarnate" among other things. As his dark-typing would suggest, DarkMantis.EXE is programmed to be able to safely use Dark Chips without suffering their ill side effects whatsoever. He is even able to use battle chips labeled as Evil Chips naturally without the need to open a dark hole, or become a DS Navi first. In battle, he relies mainly on his scythes to do the fighting & he hones them with deadly proficiency. Some of his moves earn him the nickname of the Grim Reaper; and he holds that name in high regard. His abilities & attacks are as follows.

⦁ Black Scythe: Charged version of Scythe Swing. Hits for the same ranges, but applies Dark-Type damage in the mix.
⦁ Shadow Runner: DarkMantis.EXE launches a dark-type boomerang on the field. Usually he launches one large boomerang, but on occasion, the large boomerang will leave behind smaller ones to harass his target(s).
⦁ Dancing Scythe: DarkMantis.EXE throws his scythes down his current row, and one adjacent row with one going straight down one row, and the other arching in a boomerang fashion. Sword Attributed.
⦁ Blood Scythe: DarkMantis.EXE charges at his foe in an attempt to catch them. If he succeeds, the for will be injured up to 7 times before he releases them. Dark-Type. Sword Attribute. Can be defended with barriers & auras, and invisibility. Guards chips & shield programs are useless against this.
⦁ Geist Mantids: DarkMantis.EXE forms several dark bits around him (usually 8) and then launches them at random spaces. If the bits hit the targeted space, they quickly form a geistly mantis that slashes 3 panels deep above or below the target, or even 3 panels wide if to the left or right of said target. Very rarely do the mantids cut a 2x3 range, or 3x2 range depending on the position. Dark-Type. Sword Attribute.
⦁ Mantid Wraith: DarkMantis.EXE opens a column of dark holes & sends several ghostly mantids down one random row each. The mantids do not actually deal damage & all have 1HP and so can be shot or blocked easily to get rid of them. However, if 4 mantids connect with a foe in succession (indicated by a growing skull), then DarkMantis.EXE will black out the area instantly, appear over the unfortunate foe, and deliver a slash that deletes the target instantly regardless of health remaining. The insta-delete slash ignores Undershirt completely.
⦁ Rock Breaker: At any point there's an obstacle such as a cube, or a rock, DarkMantis.EXE will slice it into 3 pieces & launch them down all 3 rows. He will not use this on VDolls, or Guardian statues.
⦁ Death Image: DarkMantis.EXE's ultimate attack. He announces this move by shouting "I wanna see you cry!" before jumping up to his front centermost panel & energizing his scythes with dark energy to cut in a 2x3 area of the enemy's field, starting with the top portion & finishing with the bottom portion, or vice versa. Then, the whole enemy field is targeted & he delivers an arena shaking slash that can only be protected from with barriers, auras, shields, or invisibility. Dark-Type. Sword Attribute.

While DarkMantis.EXE was not extensively used in battle instructions, he did at least act as a test for some navis to hone their battle skills (They simply had to survive against DarkMantis.EXE), and many of them passed his test in survival. During the Nebula incidents, DarkMantis.EXE put his skills of darkness to really good use. He often proved a key player in many liberation missions as he acted as a scout in the darkness. Unlike DarkNecrobat.EXE however, he did not oversee a rival in any of the Darkloids as he was simply more concerned with "snuffing their soulless lives out" rather than having a rival. He did admittedly however, oversee a friendly one with ShadowMan.EXE as both acted as assassins. Even so, DarkMantis.EXE is open about lending a helping hand should his services be needed. Though DarkMantis.EXE appears intimidating & has the heart of a killer, he is still nonetheless a jovial & friendly navi whose loyalty to friends & allies is without limit. He can however, be rather shady at times. In his spare time, he likes to hone in on practicing Mantis martial arts (Befitting as he himself is one), but he shares DarkNecrobat.EXE's dislike for Darkloids since he calls them "Devils incarnate" among other things. As his dark-typing would suggest, DarkMantis.EXE is programmed to be able to safely use Dark Chips without suffering their ill side effects whatsoever. He is even able to use battle chips labeled as Evil Chips naturally without the need to open a dark hole, or become a DS Navi first. In battle, he relies mainly on his scythes to do the fighting & he hones them with deadly proficiency. Some of his moves earn him the nickname of the Grim Reaper; and he holds that name in high regard. His abilities & attacks are as follows.
⦁ Dark Power: DarkMantis.EXE harnesses the power of darkness in a positive way, allowing him to safely use Dark Chips without ill side effects, and can make use of Evil Chips right off the bat.
⦁ Air Shoes: DarkMantis.EXE can stand over holes.
⦁ Float Shoes: DarkMantis.EXE is immune to the effects of negative panels.
⦁ Dark Shield: DarkMantis.EXE puts up a shield that makes him immune to attacks for 5 hits.
⦁ Black Arrow: DarkMantis.EXE's basic attack. He flings arrows down either 3, or 4 squares deep. The arrows that hit panels remain there & act as damaging obstacles. Dark-Type.
⦁ Black Arrowrain: The charged version of Black Arrow. This sees DarkMantis.EXE unleashing up to 10 to 15 arrows in one move. As a result however, only 5 arrows can stay attached to panels while the others disappear immediately. Dark-Type.
⦁ Scythe Swing: DarkMantis.EXE's basic melee attack. He swings his scythe, or scythes, and cuts 2 panels deep, or 3 panels wide. Sword Attribute.
⦁ Black Scythe: Charged version of Scythe Swing. Hits for the same ranges, but applies Dark-Type damage in the mix.
⦁ Shadow Runner: DarkMantis.EXE launches a dark-type boomerang on the field. Usually he launches one large boomerang, but on occasion, the large boomerang will leave behind smaller ones to harass his target(s).
⦁ Dancing Scythe: DarkMantis.EXE throws his scythes down his current row, and one adjacent row with one going straight down one row, and the other arching in a boomerang fashion. Sword Attributed.
⦁ Blood Scythe: DarkMantis.EXE charges at his foe in an attempt to catch them. If he succeeds, the for will be injured up to 7 times before he releases them. Dark-Type. Sword Attribute. Can be defended with barriers & auras, and invisibility. Guards chips & shield programs are useless against this.
⦁ Geist Mantids: DarkMantis.EXE forms several dark bits around him (usually 8) and then launches them at random spaces. If the bits hit the targeted space, they quickly form a geistly mantis that slashes 3 panels deep above or below the target, or even 3 panels wide if to the left or right of said target. Very rarely do the mantids cut a 2x3 range, or 3x2 range depending on the position. Dark-Type. Sword Attribute.
⦁ Mantid Wraith: DarkMantis.EXE opens a column of dark holes & sends several ghostly mantids down one random row each. The mantids do not actually deal damage & all have 1HP and so can be shot or blocked easily to get rid of them. However, if 4 mantids connect with a foe in succession (indicated by a growing skull), then DarkMantis.EXE will black out the area instantly, appear over the unfortunate foe, and deliver a slash that deletes the target instantly regardless of health remaining. The insta-delete slash ignores Undershirt completely.
⦁ Rock Breaker: At any point there's an obstacle such as a cube, or a rock, DarkMantis.EXE will slice it into 3 pieces & launch them down all 3 rows. He will not use this on VDolls, or Guardian statues.
⦁ Death Image: DarkMantis.EXE's ultimate attack. He announces this move by shouting "I wanna see you cry!" before jumping up to his front centermost panel & energizing his scythes with dark energy to cut in a 2x3 area of the enemy's field, starting with the top portion & finishing with the bottom portion, or vice versa. Then, the whole enemy field is targeted & he delivers an arena shaking slash that can only be protected from with barriers, auras, shields, or invisibility. Dark-Type. Sword Attribute.
