I'm sure most of you have *some* kind of accent you find hawt (except probably midwest-American). So I just threw this together of my top three.
--Russian
I've often theorized Russians take all their tenors out as kids, and exile them. It seems the adult males universally are baritones or lower. Which is just fine with me. So not only is it all the deep masculine guttural tones, for some reason their broken English makes it even better. This was also an excuse to draw Grigori, from a recent storyline of Catena Manor ( https://www.catenamanor.com ). Treiss' father Grigori is epitome of the big, loud, cheery, but forceful Russian sort. And he's haaaaaaawt. Could stand to lose a few pounds, but with those arms, jawline, and accent, YESPLS. The creators of Catena, incidentally, have been informed of my crush and think it's hilarious ;-p
--Australian
I don't think this needs much explanation since I know a lot of folks who agree. While I'm sure most of us are aware (and don't care) that a lot of media portrayals of Australians are totally wrong, I would also wager a plenty of Australian natives play it up jut cuz us Yanks are fun to mess with. As you very well should, dangit.
--Southern
Okay, this requires a bit of explanation. Yes, there are certain types of drawls that drive me wild. Unfortunately I don't know the regions well enough to know the nuances of Southern dialects...not as big on the twang in some areas. The easygoing cowboy sort is probably my favorite.
As a bit of an embarrassing anecdote, however...one time at work (if you've missed it, I'm a tax accountant), I needed to call the Kentucky Department of Revenue for some assistance. The agent I spoke to on the phone had THE SEXIEST VOICE. I don't know if any of my cubicle neighbors noticed how turned on I was (I hope not). In reality I don't know if this guy is some balding geeky accountant, but his voice had it all; soft, slow, relaxed, a nice drawl. While I have a penchant for bad boys, this was unquestionably a bedroom voice. Plus he was extremely pleasant and helpful, which just added to it XD
Ahem.
Honorable mention goes to Brits, although I also don't know the regional dialect specifics there either...it's the more "upper-class" ones that I like, and oddly, I like them best on women o.0 If you ever hear the real (non-acting) speaking voices of Kate Winslet (NOT in Titanic mode) or Marina Sirtis (aka Counselor Troi), ooooh yes. Dat's it.
So. What about you?
[edit] Interesting. A cursory glance of the thread shows a lot of Irish and Scottish in addition to the above. Very curiously, the traditional "sexy" romance languages (Spanish, French, Italian) are relatively underrepresented. I wonder why. Maybe most of my readers are male, and those languages would go over better with the ladies?

The Wisconsin accent is almost the same as the one they use in most TV shows. In fact I don't notice any accent in most TV shows because of that. We say a few words differently, "mountain" as "mou"(as in mouth)-tain or Milwaukee as "muh-wah-kee" but other than that and the "soda" and "bubbler" thing I don't think it differs much at all from the accent actors use on the average TV show.
Ah, but if you go to Ebay Australia, it says "G'Day" at the top!
And as far as accents and the men that use them go, I still have to say that I'd love to lay my head on James Earl Jones' chest and have him read something to me. Anything, I don't care, "the Great Gatsby" would suffice, but...yeah.

ah and what do you think about Irish accents? *is a mimic and can do a few types of accents*
awh could i see the slightly more untamed version X#3 i'm a curious lion and i just love the expresion on that fox face <3 *blushes realising it's making him feel a bit hot and bothered too*

I happen to love posh accents on women as well!
And scottish for Men.
I'm not too hot about southern US accents though ..
As for french, I can't stand parisian (too stuckup), I like southern france and montreal middle class (yes im biased). But loathe working class quebecois accent with its rolled r's and way too relaxed pronunciation.

Russian, German, and some southern, not as much as Russian or German. I love the sound of French, more than the French accent. But the other day there were two Russian students in the coffee shop the other day, they were talking and I could feel myself starting to blush, they also caught me staring a bit... >//>
Ohhh yes they were, and they giggled when they saw me do the stare-then-look-away-really-fast-and-blush thing.
But listening to them talk, heheh, it almost made me shudder! x3 I loved it! And i had to wait extra long for my coffee so I got to stand there for almost 10 minutes and listen the them talk.

Like Kate Winslet and Marina Sirtis I... can't honestly think of too many male Brits that got my motor cranking.
Oh yes, Jane Leeves too, though her accent on Frasier was more blue-collary, IIRC.
And it's not really sexy, but I could listen to Judi Dench talk all day. She's just too cool XD

I have been on the other end of this kinda. Well not really but something akin to it.
I was in a chat with someone and we decided to phone for a bit when he learned i was from California. Then he gets irritated and accuses me of misrepresentation when i fail to have a surfer/stoner accent.

That is kind of the burden of living in a place people have such specific expectations about. I knew this girl who's family moved over here from Iran and she married a Texan, she learned to mimic the texan and midwestern accents so well she had no problem blending in and that apparently freaked out her husband's parents a lot.
Personally i think her Farsi accent was better to listen to.

As far as i know they did not mind. There whole mindset when they moved here was to change and assimilate, they all converted to Christianity and tried to learn flawless english. Their motivations for moving here were something akin to being sick fundamental islam because of some family members being killed or something.
Ha! Very good comic, all three bits of strip are hilarious. I have to agree on that first one with the big huge Russian fella, he's an absolute hottie and looks all daddy-type and I might have to check that link you gave to see more of him. Also on big agreement on Russian as one of the sexiest accents. Figures to have Jake to represent for the Aussie one, and again, it's a funny one, but the third with the Southern accent is definitely the funniest of the lot, I totally bust a gut there. And I also agree on Southern being sexy, hence why I gave my Freddy that particular accent, and it makes me ponder if that's another reason he's my most popular guy. Scottish is my other favorite accent, so I guess you can tell by my Cyrus character, and then there's Nieve to add to it too, plus the kilt opens to so many possibilities of both sexy and funny. lol
Okay, scratch that, I just read the little story with Grigori up there and now fully know why you're crushing on him. Let's see, he's big, strong, chubby, has that accent, the extra fluff on his chest, the fact that he's a snow leopard, he's an older man, can be scary and intimidating but he's actually a cheerful guy who enjoys goofing and playing around and likes video games too.
Yeah, now I'm crushing big-time too, and would love to join you in glomping him and getting that back-breaking hug from him, Vince. He's big enough for two, after all. XD

Heh, yeah, Jake is so far the only Aussie dude I've seen, so he was fitting. Oh, and like you mentioned down there, I'm surprised too at the lack of mentioning of Spanish too. I didnt put it because it's my own accent, and I don't find my voice particularly sexy. lol
Which southern accent is it? Um.... I dunno, to be honest. Freddy talks all "Well, see now, there is how I talk. Nice deep voice, but ya can still tell I'm purty young for the most part ya know. Now hey, if yer cute self ever needs a spotter in the gym or to fix ya a mighty fin lil fruit salad, ya just let me know, ya hear?" Yeah, sorta like that. It's not too in-your-face or rednecky. XD
Like him? I am crushing big-time on him. I assure you my imagination is going wild on what I would do with that big Russian snow leopard dilf if he were single or divorced. lol

More and more Aussie furs are popping out of the woodwork here, I see though XD
Ironically one friend who I know loves Spanish is the one from p5 of the doggie-torment comic--the one who never posts on FA ;-p
Hm. Yeah, seems rather deep south, very gentlemanly. He needs to wear a hat so he can tip it XD
You'd...play chess?

I have to say, my favourite goes to Australian, no explanation needed.
Second goes to the Brits, though I still wonder at times how people can mix up the Brit and Australian accents. They are clearly different. Scots are tied, to some extent. I hear David Tennant in his natural accent, and I melt.
You may have a point about the broken English Russian, though.

Fuck. Yes. Grigori! <3<3<3<3<3
I loooooooved his character in Catena. And the Russian accent is one of the best there is. But the sad part is their voices don't match the body 90% of time, which is sad. :C But that bearhug....THAT is good. <3
Australian is another great accent. <3
Southern doesn't do anything for me though.
Now...Jamaican, Irish, and Scottish. . . . oh fuck yes. <3

Um...Inland North of *where*? ^ ^;;
I would've thought more people would like Spanish, but not seeing it crop up more here. Frankly I'm surprised you weren't constantly horny when you visited, given the large Latino population. I should've dragged you to my gym...Mexican hotties everywhere

Inland North of the US, i.e. Chicago... sorry that I wasn't more clear about that ^.^
It surprises me too!
And we were talking about accents... I didn't get to talk to a Latino, so I didn't get a chance to get turned on by his accent ;-D
But I don't know if you noticed, I liked Antonio Banderas' voice in that one movie ^.^;;

I can't say I agree about the sexiness of Russian voices, but they are fun to hear. One that I didn't see on your list that I always enjoy hearing is Scottish accents. I told my mate that I would go to Scotland /just/ to listen to people talk. *hopes he's not mixing up Scottish with Irish accents*
Anyways, I enjoy hearing Austrailian accents accents as well. Not too much a carer for the Southern accent... though I did have a professor that was born in Scotland and raised in the South that had a Scottish/Southern mix that was... very unique. I enjoyed listening to him and found the accent intriguing.
Lastly, I agree with the British comment. Especially about the women! I worked at a theater back in the day and had a customer once that had that exact kind of 'upper class' voice. Just listening to them talk puts me in kind of a trance and makes me feel smarter somehow.
Oh yeah, that reminds me... I don't know why but certain people just have this... thing to their voice that make me not listen to them but just listen to the sound of their voice. It's only happened with a few people but I know they're out there. It's like they're a walking Siren or something in that their voice just attracts me to them for some reason. Hard to explain...

Scottish is the kinda rough one, Irish is much softer. It's Groundskeeper Willie vs Lucky Charms XD
Scottish...southern? @.@
My bf did note that Canada had a lot of Scottish immigrants, and listening to it, Canadian (non-French) does have some remnants in there.
LOL. I wish I had more profs that were Brits, I would've been a genius.
No common feature of the voices?

It's just this voice that has this allure to it. Nothing I can really pick out. It's just that very few people have this quality.
Here's an example: There was this Waldenbooks near me (owned by Borders) and there was this guy that worked there. I remember asking him about his recommendation for books to read. He started talking and I don't know what it was but I was just infatuated by his voice. It was hard for me to concentrate on what he was saying because I was transfixed by the sound of his voice.
I don't know how to explain that or anything but it's just how it is I guess. ^^; His voice wasn't harsh, lacked inflections and was just soothing I guess. Sort of like how I enjoy listening to the sound of someone typing on a keyboard, I could listen to his voice for a while. It seems that (to me) good salesmen are the ones I can note as having this voice. Something about the rhythm and tone I guess?

1) Russian/Slavic accents. Back in middle/high school I had a Russian friend who grew up in St. Petersburg and had a slight accent. However, we somehow developed this little shindig where I'd call him by his true Russian name (Vyacheslav) and he'd start going all over the place in Russian, then he'll have a thick accent for a short while when he reverts to English. I really like the roughess of the language really, and it also reflected on my ex who is Mongolian (which sounds simlar to Russian) and knew Russian as well. I always enjoyed listening to him. :)
2) Scottish accent. Again with the rough "texture" of the language. Plus I love listening to Gerard Butler talk. <_<;
3) Australian accent. I watched a lot of Steve Irwin growing up along and I've just loved it since. Something about how it sounds just gets me, like how their "no" kinda sounds like a fusion of "no" and "nar." I definitely enjoyed listening to another friend back in high school since he grew up in Australia.
As a side note, I've been chatting with my friends from Staten Island, NY, and I'm starting to absorb their accent... ("I could really go for some cawefee.") Maybe if I go study abroad long enough I can pick up an interesting accent, lol.

Yeah, I actually had a coworker who was Mongolian...and she looked like an Asian supermodel. So it was kind of a weird shock when she'd speak Mongolian on the phone and it wounded Russian.
Vyachelsav. It's just fun to say! Lucky XD
Ooh, Gerard Butler. Didn't know he was a Scot. That explains a lot.
tkdye spent a year in Australia and was always coaching me on how to say it. I never got good at it, but his reminder that it's "kainda naisaly" always helped.
Nu Yawk, eh? XD

Lmao you're a bad, bad man. Languages aside, I wonder what else we like rough and hard. :P Like... Gerard Butler's beard..?
It's interesting that I don't see many Mongolians around. I wonder where they're hiding?
Haha I've been saying "kainda naisaly" recently and you're right, it does help.
Yeah, Nu Yawk for sure. I kinda want me some "hought dawgs" now. XP

No worries,
kuntos informed me of the different dialects, and he mentioned the mostly-Brit sounding one. S'all good. Just practice it if you want to make me blush XD

Closest we had was a Virginia audit. And I don't think Vin Diesel CAN do that accent @.@
Ms Sirtis' speaking voice is far, far more British than Demona. She was a client at my previous job so I would hear her on the speakerphone with the bookkeeper. I liked that speakerphone.

Well as I said, most accent are fine. But German is in my opinion a rather aggressive sounding language -
A friend's cousin visiting from New York told me once, if you don't speak German, a reasonable response to 'Good morning, how are you?' would be 'OMG PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! I HAVE A WIFE AND THERR LITTLE KIDS!!!!' ^^;
I know, exaggerated, but you get the idea.
-
And some accents make it sound even more agressive...

the southern accent you are describing is usually reffered to by people in the south as a refined southern accent or the southern gentleman's accent and it gets me too. but the southern Georgia girls with the smile and cooking get me too. I agree with all of these though, good choices. My mate is studying Russian and it gets my like the Goemz and Mortica speaking french scenes
I've always had a soft spot for accents from the UK (British, Scottish, Irish, Welsh), and Australia. It's only been in the past 10 years or so that I'ce found Russian accents adorable/sexy.
That being said, my nephrologist, Dr. Pajak, is Polish, and I absolutely ADORE his accent.

Ahh...Accents...they stir somethin in me as well. >=3
Murr, that Grigori is indeed HAWT! Hurhurhur, and what a fine jawline indeed and anatomy he has indeed. X3
Though I think I'm more prone to giving that type of squeeze when I'm in that kind of mood.<3
LOL, now that would be the best situation to ever see. Then again, don't you love it when someone on the phone is talking with bedroom tone? <3 >=3
As for me? That's a doozy of a question.
I do admit, I have a thing for Australian and Russian. Though I do admit, I do have a thing for German (except it doesn't work for me if it's woman). And if you want to tease about the German one, go right ahead. XD
Btw, interesting yet creative avatar, V. Not as "fun" as your last one, but it's quite true in it's purpose. ^^

Yes at work! <3 Yeeees...>=3

I have my ways. 0=3
Surprised?! It seems quite obvious to me. Less fun cause it's half of you and half of your other you. And no, 2 halfs don't make a whole. Then again, they don't make a 1/4th either, but this isn't math. This is...avatar's we're talking. XD

Honesly, no.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssss? 0=3
Naw, you're both fun. But you got to take a few things into the equation then show that each half of their own whole is the sole equivalent of fun to their own spectrum of themselves. ^^
And of course ya like math. To be a furry artist/accountant, ya have to enjoy math to a level. ^^

Being forced to post this comment by my friend who thought it'd be funny -.- I'm 100% Russian and raised by dutch parents who kinda sound aussie/british and I am cursed to not be able to pronounce such phrases as "bout salright melk no worries somewhat coopcakes aupples and multiple other things my friends make fun of me for X3
I"m ashamed of my southern accent sometimes. It does slip out from time to time. Like "How ya'll doin!", but not as bad as some of the natives down here. earl=oil, terlet=toilet, ferl=foil, berl=boil, and so on. Not gonna lie, i do love me a bit of an aussie accent though or even a Columbian accent. <3
wouldn't call it a ranking system. i have southern family, so i know ALL the southern accents lol they're as distinguishable as various accents are to japanese and chinese. :) same with other countries that house accents to their multiple regions XD (Australia has three accents on that note.)
I'm southern actually. Hehe. Louisiana to be exact. We kinda have our own version of the southern language, so maybe you don't like it but i definitely have it. The whole relaxed, laid back, cowboy-ish type like you talk about. lol. I knowingly say "y'all" in my talk a lot. It's mostly noticeable when I chat with mah folks. Heh.
Hm, interesting, I'm not actually familiar with it (all people ever put in the media is the CAY-JOON accent), so hm, will have to investigate.
AND OH GAWD YES. Good voice actor there too. I just wish he'd been in better shape. Not bad, honestly, but not worth Rule 34ing either (I'll leave that to others) XD

Man, so much to love here--both in your art and in what you've shared with us! ;)
Some may think it dates to Tai Lung, but I have always loved snow leopards (it's that gorgeous, thick, soft fur), especially big ones. I just haven't had many examples of them to glomp on. Hence why I was so happy when you added Nate to the ISO cast. *glomps him* But after discovering Ivan in "Deathless", and now this Grigori fellow, I definitely have more to fuel my crushes/perverse sexual lusts. :D He's huge, sexy, sweet, and adorable. And I am so with you and Rembrant on wanting a hug like that from him. Or any big guy really. (Though with less actual crushing. :P )
Though the Russian accent itself really doesn't do much for me...maybe I just haven't been exposed to it enough. Same goes with Aussie. Aussie guys themselves, on the other hand, tend to set me off big-time. :D
But I so so am in love with the Southern accent. Probably thanks to an ex of mine from Louisiana (*grins at TreyFox, for describing exactly what he's talking about*). Which is why Blakeson ended up being Southern. And as Remmy and Kal pointed out, Nieve should show my love of the Scottish accent. I don't use it all the time because it's a bitch to type sometimes, but when I do, foreplay inevitably ensues. ;) There are times I wish I had it IRL, but nope, all I've got (if any of it remains after living in California for a few years) is a damn Midwestern accent. Which, naturally enough, I never hear when I speak.

What's NOT to love about them? Though they're usually not very large, so I think snow leopard beefcake is a pretty new concept.
I dunno, maybe growing up my age there was a lot of Cold War exposure. Quite used to it.
I think California ~ Midwestern. I don't notice any accent here either.

Agreed! And that is such a travesty, we need more snow leopard beefcake!! Okay that's not true to their size IRL, but surely lions and tigers can't get all the fun. And combining beef with all that fur is... *shudders happily*
Well growing up in Iowa you don't get much exposure to the Cold War or Russian in general.
Could be. But then my mate Ingonyama is from California and I've never really noticed him having an accent either.

Ah well, something to think of for next time. Because there will be a next time, da? :D
Not really. Best I recall was that movie Russkies *groans in pain at the awful memories* and the fact I took some Russian myself back in middle school. Forgot it all now of course...and anyway there were no hot Russian men to listen to teach it. If there had been I might remember the language better. ;)
It is indeed. :P

I'm referring to making his tail bigger next time silly. Not everything is a naughty innuendo, not even from me. :P
True enough. It wasn't them being bad that makes me groan (it was the Cold War after all, and as I recall they weren't clear-cut villains anyway), it was how cheesy and cliche the movie itself was. :P
Neither did we. I was only able to take Russian because I was in the Gifted Program. Same way I took some Latin.

Aussies are the best, I also love a good Texan cowboy, and I find a thick Irish accent to be incredibly hawt. I think Russian is more of a romantic sexy then a hawt sexy.
Does it count as a bear hug coming from a Russian cat? I think Grigori is great, too. More adorable then sexy, though. I hope he shows up again.

Mmm... I'm not too sure about the accent but the ones that turns me on would be Aussie, gotta love them!! It's hawt!! Brit, damn those britains have a cool and suave voice. Mm... maybe scottish. They have this weird vibe that's so.. out of this world.. *murr*
I love the russian bear hug. XD
I love the russian bear hug. XD
Hahahah, you too Vince?? =3 I couldn't help but smile and blush and giggle when I saw a bit of underbelly from Grigori You captured him pretty well too, I instantly knew right away who he was
For what types of accents I like....I dunno...Irish or scottish for me, I think it's because of Sean Connery for that =3 and I agree with you on the russian accent and how they speak

Oh come on *nudges* i know you liked the underbelly shots too LOL
and um....from what I can remember as well, Dragonheart I liked him in that because he voiced the dragon =3 and in The Entrapment with Catherine Zeta Jones (i think it was her) where he trained her to be a high class thief like by first training her to steal this rare mask that had an invisible laser light security system....and ended with them stealing billions of dollars from some sort of rich charity thing, and I don't remember much of the movie but he was good in The First Knight as well =3 Damn that voice of his >=3

As was pointed out, yes, Dragonheart for voice and Entrapment, and then there was also The Rock. I even liked him in Finding Forrester and all the gay undertones in it. lol
Actually, Sean Connery in The Rock was who made me realize I have not only a daddy thing, but a man thing in general. XD

WHAT!!! Southern is not yer TOP FAVORITE! *huffs* j/k I have to admit the Australian accent does sorta heat me up a bit. Wouldn't mind marrying a fine young Aussie lady. Our kids would have the most awesome accent EVER!! As for the southern dialect, it's really not all that varied at its base. Sure there are variations to be sure. Think it more has to do with urban vs. rural environment when it comes to level of twang. Though not raised in a major city like Atlanta, I grew up in a small town along a major U.S. Hwy. so my twang ain't so pronounced. Just my thoughts on my own accent
Top three is good enough, no? XD
I believe the hot programmer babe in the first Transformers movie was Australian. I liked her better than Megan Fox, really.

Seconded. My shit, too, was cracked up.
Have we ever discussed that I can do a near-flawless Texas accent? Like, perfect. I can start out with softer southern, but it always ends up with flat-out "YEEEE-HAW."
Which is soooo useful! Very applicable, if I were ever to need to make someone thing I'm STUPID... 9_9

*frowns a bit* Great, my bland Illinois accent fits into the one catedgory you wouldn't be turned on by....
Hard to say how accents influence by opinion on people; if it is an extremely thick accent I just struggle to understand it, noteably if it is Spanish or an Asian-speaking person. However I will admit the one girl I had a big crush on for a time did have a slight Southern accent that made her interesting to talk to...that coupled with being a size D and a blond....

Alas, she never *talked* back. :-P
So you wish you could have recorded your phone conversation with the Southern Revenue Service still?
*automated operator* For automatic service, press 1. For operator with a deep rich Southern Drawl, press 2...
*pan to sound of a button being pressed multiple times in a blare of beeps*

I agree... There are times that an accent could really give a guy an edge
My fave accents:
1. Scottish Accent

3. Irish Accent
4. Thick Southern Accent
5. Thick Italian Accent
6. Thick British English Accent

I think YOU KNOW the answer to that one good sir
And remember when I told you that I used to work as a customer representative, right? Well, I was able to talk to one of the sexiest voices in my book. He has a Thick Chicano / Mexican Accent + Low tone of voice who talks very slowly and smoothly... and I just had to take my time talking to him. I pulled out the information he wanted as fast as I could... but, at the same time, telling him that i would need a few more minutes to pull them up. I had a nice chat with him before I gave in and give him what he needs. *Chuckles* that was very worth it.
As for the "thickness" of an Irish / Scottish Accent... What I meant is that the range of "sexiness" for me would go from a regular Irish / Scottish Accent to Thick ones. If I emphasized the "thickness" part... that means the regular ones are okay... but not enough to make me wag my tail LOL.

You don't? LOL... oh no!!! ERASE!!! hehehe... Backspace... ctrl alt delete! LOL *grins innocently*
Hmm... I see. Maybe he is concentrated in talking to you? I mean... You wouldn't ignore a guy with a dreamy Russian Accent even if you were blind folded, would you?. Either that... or there are more BEEFCAKE walking around that diverted his senses ROFL
HE NEEDED FAN BOIS!!!... oh.. uhh.. no.. I mean... Aww... nothing much. Just verification of his patient's health insurance... and a few inquiries here and there... *grins*
Yeah *nods and grins*

Well, I can still keep my cool despite the temptations all around LOL... It would be hard for me if the person I enjoyed looking at would know that I am actually looking at him / her LOL.
Hmm... maybe it is inescapable for you since you've been there for quite some time? LOL... and if you knew about me... where would you take me then? *chuckles*
Yes... he IS a doctor... *grins* I don't know what he looks like though but his voice was very soothing. Nope... I was too shy to ask LOL... Hehe... I might to a DRE on him if that's the case LOL

Dude! If anyone knows anything about this Demon, thy would know that he is a Slave to a good accent on a man.
My ex fiancรฉ was Irish, him talking to me made me melt into a puddle... to bad he was a jerk>.>
Iron bars have nothing on me hen an Aussie speaks to me
I used to fap watching Road Rovers with scenes Of Exile
I like Canadian guys - French Canadian Lumber Jacks anyone?!
Greek men Torn me the hell on
and a good souther dral... will make me do just about anything.
seriously a man can either make or break my feelings toward him just by opening his mouth the speak. -groan-

I enjoy listening to soft-spoken Vietnamese women...it's soothing in the way Bob Ross was soothing.
As far as what accent I find attractive...I dunno if any particular accent turns me on as much. If there is, I'd have to say probably Scottish, Russian, and Turkish. But all of those have a very small amount of influence on my libido.

Check this guy out: http://www.youtube.com/user/drtorqueP90XCoach He was my fitness coach for a while, when I actually was taking good care of my body.
I agree a russian accent is sexy. although I much prefer it on a woman. I dunno why but it just makes them sound so strong or determined. ...or like they have a leather fetish. >//>
as for a male accents hmm. well theres the Loisiana southern aristocrat accent. although it kind of makes them sound a lil effeminent. or racist. depends on how old the guy with the accent is. :P
oh and brooklyn accents. they're not always sexy. but they are always Hilarious. ^^

MMMMMMM....accents that make you spooge your shorts! Russian IS hot! LOVE this snow leopard's expressions, puzzled and friendly (and fluffy and spotty!!!). Kylet's ultimate weakness: A bear hug by a huge hulking guy! (Sounds good to me also!) The bottom right panel is hysterical! My faves? My favorites have all been with "World's Strongest Man" competitors. Gregor Edmunds' Scots accent is just damned seductive and rugged, Harold "Iron Bear" Collins (retired from competition now) is from one of the Carolinas, I think, this soft, gentle drawl coming out of the mouth of this HUGE lumbering grizzly, YUMMY AS ALL GET-OUT!!! Manfred Heorbel was a German competitor, medium accent, low voice, always had "happy" inflections when he spoke, or at least that's how it sounded to me. I'd better stop now before I make a mess. drrroooooollllll.............
I'd go with Irish as some said. Maybe a more upper-class English voice. Russian is fairly good too. I've heard a few women with a Greek lilt to their voice that was quite nice too.
What does melt me is a deep and very well enunciated voice. Someone like George Takei could make me pretty much swoon. I don't care how old he is, if there was a chance....
I noticed what you said about the lack of the "normal" sexy accents. While I can't speak for others, living in Canada I've grown up hearing a lot of French accents on the news (granted, not true Parisian French) and I think that's what sort of killed it for me. Its kind of nice, but its either a like or annoy thing. Sort of the same with south US accents for me.

First of all, your face in the last panel is just priceless.
So here's what I think. My mom has a friend Kosovo, and he has a bunch of other friends who are all Greek, Bosnian, Croatian, and they all speak like, eight languages. It's ridiculous. And their accents are amazing. All of those eastern European languages are extremely similar to Russian. Although, there was one guy who sounded sort of half Russian, half Italian. So cool.
You probably would have liked my philosophy teacher. He's from north Florida if I'm not mistaken, so he has that low southern drawl and he constantly refers to himself as a redneck. BUT, he's extremely smart and well-educated so he speaks absolutely perfect English.
As for me, personally, all foreign languages fascinate me simply because I can't understand them. If someone starts speaking in any language besides English, I immediately get all giddy and stuff. And I suppose Irish, Australian and "proper" British English accents are pretty hot. One thing that I find strange though... I grew up in Maryland, and at a very young age I started developing a slight Baltimore accent. My mom did not like this very much so she rid me of it before it set in, but occasionally it slips out. For some reason, my friend LOVES it and makes me talk like that all the time.

Hey, I could've been nastier if I wanted, I just thought I should keep it fairly clean XD
Wow. I'd have to hear that XD
Huh, I didn't know Floridians HAD an accent. Must investigate.
ANY language? Wow. XD
Baltimore? So that's kinda along the lines of other New Englandish accents?

Well what I meant is that northern Floridians essentially have the same accent as people from the deep south. You know, Georgia, the Carolinas... Kentucky >:3
And yeah, I've heard people describe a Baltimore accent as a combination of Pittsburgh and New Jersey accents. It's pretty weird.

A few notes, both for you and the other posters:
* "Crikey" as an exclamation is much more common in Queensland, Australia than in any other province. As you might guess, that's where the late, great Steve Irwin hailed from.
* The most typical "Russian" accent is Muscovite (native of Moscow), unless you favor Pavel Chekov; his accent is actually Lithuanian. (A real Russian accent actually doesn't change "v" into "w". It changes "w" into "v". So "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" would be "Kvik brrown fox is joomping over lacey dug".
* The "southern gentleman" accent is what you might call "Georgian"; it tends to add syllables to some words ("Wawkin' ow-ut on th' ver-a-yun-dah") by stretching vowel sounds. ("If y'DI-rect yer at-tay-un-shun t'line fo'ty-three...")

Ah, okay, so he wasn't totally hamming it up XD
Oh! That's good to know. And I do have to admit Chekov was a total cutey in the new movie....
I believe I was informed that Foghorn Leghorn's accent was Georgian. So I guess that fits. I do like the stretched vowels, but perhaps not that strongly XD

When I created 'Stanislov', I knew he had to be Russian, though the bodybuilder I based him after was actually from Germany...I loved writing his dialect.
I'm partial to Scottish, too, that used to really do it for me...it still does of course, heh.
Oh but this really awesome, I ADORE the Russian char, his design is really handsome...

Southern. Oh, my god, Southern. Or Western? I can't really tell the difference, tho' I know there IS one... "Country" drives me crazy in the BEST way. I'm awful with actresses and such, but holy crap do I love my country singers. Terri Clark, Gretchen Wilson, Dixie Chicks... Sugarland. Good lawd, I love them ALL. Melt me right where I stand.
That on women is hot to me, but I totally wouldn't mind having that accent myself. Josh Turner can turn people to putty with a single word, forget a whole line of music. It's insane!
I love all kinds of accents, but as far as what turns me ON, it's all about the Country. I can't really think of others that hit quite as hard... I find I like accents and hear them most on guys than I get the pleasure of hearing them on women. Oddly, the British accent doesn't do that much for me... The more Latin accents can drive me crazy, too, though, the more I think about them. I mean, shoot, you know how I feel about Shakira!

:::Cocks head::: You know...what IS the difference? Ironically I don't think there is much to a Southwest accent XD
Faith Hill? Shania Twain (well, I don't know about her accent, she's Canadian)? Plus, you know, they tend to be gorgeous
I actually have no idea what your voice sounds like
You know, I'm not sure if I've ever heard Shakira just speak o.0 Though yeah, I'm not surprised

Haha well I'm back in the south for a while at least. Maybe my accent will come back and I'll run into you at a con or something lol. Honestly, though, I never thought SoCal even had an accent per se. That being said, I would like to meet half sometime and I do still wanna write for ya lol xD
I don't get it do we Aussies sound different? I actually have to speak more adenoidal to get that Aussie sound ;)
The thing is though I'm from Queensland and we have a habit I'm told of elongating the "ay" sound more than other states in Australia. I think I've kept the Victorian Accent where half my family comes from.
I am a sucker for the Russian accent, but my fox mate is from French speaking Belgium and his low voice with that Belgian accent always hits me like hot syrup going over pancakes...*shudders*

I would say my top slot goes to British. There's just something about the various parts of England (especially London) that turns my crank.
Aussies share my number two slot, with Irishmen taking a close third.
I happen to love quite a few accents, but those are definitely my top three.

Hehehe. I know exactly what you mean by the southern accent. I sometimes letmyself slide into a drawl when I'm ordering food, but you can tell the difference like night and day between a Northern Florida, Central Alabama, and West Kentucky accent from a Louisiana accent. X3 I like a Central AL, to a Northern Tennessee accent myself.
Well, I really like Russian, Spanish, Slovak (I blame Lackadaisy Cats for that), Southern U.S., Australian (HELL YES!!!), and a little of French. I also like Brittish, but also only in women (sounds classy, and my 0,001% of straightness likes classy women with glasses and high heels). I really don't like Brazilian Portuguese accents (OBS.: I'm Brazilian), but maybe that's just conditioning from the constant "You're saying it wrong" from english teachers. As for the accent that I have, I really have no idea what it is. Sometimes it sounds Brazilian, sometimes it sounds "correct", but given the amount of english-speaking accents out there, I imagine I fit in somewhere... XD
Wait, really?? You sound a lot like my preferences, especially with classy British women (I guess I have a touch of a librarian-ish interest).
I...actually have not had much RL experience with anyone who speaks Portugese so I'm not entirely sure how that accent does sound. May have to look it up somewhere.
