Lumi often keeps small towns and cities under her protection in snow globes for safe keeping. But on very rare occasions, she can wind up with troublemakers causing trouble at large, and while small at the same time!
So after asking them to pack it in, she's zipped down in size to sort them out.
Fun fact, this is actually set in Lumi's house, which is designed for her 50ft size, and when her friends visit, she sizes them up to macro. Lumi here's actually about human size currently. Small enough to deal with the tiny macros!

If Lumi and her friends were a part of a larger group like marching band (just an example) I feel like Lumi has what it takes to be one of the highest up leaders in said group. She’s caring in addition to showing her serious side should she need to (too many ss).

Lumi is actually my most flexible with her size changing abilities.
Under normal circumstances, she can grow and shrink freely, however, the colder it is, the harder it is for her not to grow, which is why she has a fear of getting TOO big.
Her size changing abilities work with a slight radius effect too, so anything she's holding or near to like clothing, or a friend that she's hugging etc, she can also zip up or down in size with her at the same rate as her own growth.
Saari and Lumi often get upsized when visiting her house so they're quite used to it!
