Meredith Evelyn "Edith" Vaughn (born January 10, 1972) is an American politician who is the 47th and current president of the United States. She is the first Predator-Carnivore and second female president of the United States. A member of the Democratic Party, Vaughn previously served as the 40th governor of California from 2017 to 2025. Before entering politics, she was a Hollywood actress, television personality, and philanthropist.
A daughter of Irish immigrants, Vaughn was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, and raised in Houston, Texas. She established residency in Los Angeles, California, after graduating from UT Austin in 1994 to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
She began in 1995 by appearing in independent films. She landed her first role in a blockbuster film in 1998. Vaughn starred in several Oscar-winning and box-office hits. A lifelong Democrat, Vaughn's involvement in national politics started in 2008 when she endorsed and campaigned for then-Senator Barry Ohana, followed by other candidates. Vaughn described herself as a centrist moderate New Democrat. She built a network of supporters nearing the end of her 20 years of career in Hollywood. She proposed, lobbied for, and signed into law the Bipartisan Safer Communities Through Species Equity Act. Vaughn issued executive orders protecting LGBTQIA+ rights and reproductive health. She appointed Isaac Wolfowitz as the first Predator-Carnivore and first openly gay supreme court justice. Amid rising gun violence, Vaughn indicates support for a federal ban on assault weapons. She presided over the Artemis III Moon landing and the U.S. Semiquincentennial celebration in 2026. I changed the Presidential seal to highlight the fact that this is set in an alternate reality. In-universe, the philosophy of the eagle facing towards the arrows is that the president (and the USA as the presidential seal is derived from the Great Seal) must always be ready to defend peace, freedom, and liberty.
Also I think the seal looks cooler with the eagle facing arrows. (Fun fact, President Truman considered adding lightning effects to the arrows to symbolize atomic weapons).

Ah ok, well I see! And I appreciate the clarification. Not to mention that it's a rather interesting fact, what you just mentioned in the second sentence, as it does make sense considering how Atomic Energy does utilize such a herculean amount of energy within its disposal, hence the lighting effects in which Truman was once proposing he would implement onto the Seal's design.
