Cute little AU on twitter, created by Moon2Dust, where Little Helpers are tiny built to scale robotic personal assistants based on existing Pizzaplex Animatonics. Little creatures eager to assist and help their assigned masters aka owners.
Besides the Little Helpers there are the off model Bootlegs that is not as advanced with fewer functions, more for entertainment that practical work.
So I ended up creating a Bootleg version of Sunflower and followed the dark routes suggested by Moon2Dust herself, of "what if I traumatized it?" cuz the advanced little AI's can take great damage from mistreatment and abandonment. Bootleg Sunflower was sold mislabeled as a toy, although too fragile to be handled by children. After the damages of losing an arm it was then shortly after dumped in the trash, where it just shut off emotionally ever since. Upon rescued by a good Samaritan, it showed its way of coping was rather.. destructive. Had to be watched constantly.
Moon2Dust's own side character the Little Helper stuck in its Eclipse mode and got abandoned too for its glitching, was rescued by same human and soon tasked to supervise the unnerving Bootleg to keep it out of trouble. Is hard work sometimes but LH Eclipse is determined to help the Bootleg Sunflower to heal with nothing but love and care and keep it held up in tight snuggles as long as it takes to keep it from trying to commit arson.
