Everyone arrives at the Fire Sanctuary, only to discover that the Fire Sage was killed some time ago. There are still rumors of something called a "Katcham" in the area, but for the time being they are allowed to stay....

PARTY MEMBERS
Arlex - A young Treecko with some battle experience.
Rae - This young Shinx has developed a taste for bats, and is subtlely on the verge of evolving into a Luxio.
Mother - Arlex's mother is a Sceptile, but is believed to have been captured by the "Katcham" and hasn't been seen since.
Father - Arlex's Father is a mighty Charizard.
Aria - An Eevee who is the Daughter of the late Fire Sage.
(Attendants) - A brother/sister pair of Vulpix who help tend the Fire Sanctuary, especially in the Sage's absence.
