Specter, a grim reaper in training is constantly compared to his very successful father and therefore expected to live up to his name, his mom always thought that his dad put too much pressure on him in terms of training but once they separated there was nobody to be a voice of reason to his father, even as his dad passed he's still forced to grow up and live to his expectations

in this version of grim reapers, theyre not allowed to show their eyes as it's a sign of humanity and therefore weakness but specter doesn't view himself or his species as being above humans like many others
