Recovering from that wonderful magic riot, we gather up some choicey prisoners, make contact with two other factions, and recruit a few copycats. Ned and Fiona go on a Date! With Steve as a third leg. People drink to the end of the world, and those people are also cats.
The workpower votes for this one are much tighter! Ancillary colonists will be prepping the colony for bad times, and two of our core members are still down for the count. For this one, don't be as worried about matching up values exactly, just if you want a certain colonist to go to a certain project, let it be known.
Note that workpower applied to Refugee Camp will also be used for general preparedness and response if/when something goes wrong, as per Dawn's suggestion.
EDIT: I forgot to delete the Comm Center from the project list. You cannot vote on it. We already made it this chapter.
Goops is by
noben!
Phaedra is by Rannarbananar on dA! I spent too long trying to make the text fill in behind her shoulders, and the page break makes it look weird. Ah well. Experiments.
The Copycats are by mistrel-fox on dA!
Christmas Nose is by Fosbat on Twitter!
Mood Music: SMT5 - Taito The SMT 5 soundtrack is Weird, and is like 80% post processing. That melody in the song? Electric guitar, distorted into an apocalypse guitar. It's rather hit or miss, but Taito is a standout track of calmly approaching an impending apocalypse. Definitely give this one a listen.

It's finally out! But I really didn't expect you to lean so hard into the "date" side of "cat date" (and you didn't really list the result).
Akira: Diplomacy Only. Make it clear to him that the world's literally ending, and that now's not the time for hostilities.
LLC2 Trade: Specific Spells: Arcane Codex. They're interested in spellwork; our collection of basic utility spells should make a good sampler pack.
Grem Silo Trade: Colonist: Lilac. Considering how they reacted to the concept of homemade cookie dough, I don't trust them to be able to follow our recipe without hitches. Lend them our best cook.
Workpower distribution: We have (24+4+7-1) = 34 points to distribute (subtracting 1 because I chose to lend out Lilac). I'm emphasizing things that can't or shouldn't wait until after the Schism; for example, we can always set up a Loading Dock after the wave has passed.
- (4) Treat Polly. Turning into a new thing every day seems like the sort of thing you'd want to cure sooner rather than later.
- (2) Treat Goops. She seems like the sort of character who'd cause trouble for us if we don't deal with her quickly.
- (2) Diaspora Watch. Sort of filler, but it can't hurt.
- (2) Perimeter Ward. It won't do much against the Schism, but it'll help convince the prisoners that they're in safe hands.
- (1/2) Collar. We should help whoever we can, human or otherwise.
- (4) R&D: Coven. We can't do the End of the World Party while Lilac's staying with the Grems; this seems like a good substitute.
- (Strive and Leon) Government Meet/Greet. I don't know whether or not the Men in Black will survive the Schism, but it seems unwise to take chances.
- (Everyone else, about 15) Refugee Camp. It's now or never, and this is a good place to dump whatever workpower's left over.

Akira: Punitive itemization. When things are less breaking apart at the seems we can be gentler. But as it is the only way to both protect ourselves from him and protect him from the world is to give him a more durable, less active form.
LLC trade: seconding the spellbook from Sonic. Also maybe send the sentient helicopter over too, they might not be too interested but if we don't have fuel for them we should let them visit someone who does.
Grem Silo Trade: I'd say no Lilac, I want the end of the world party. Do we still have that mining pick we turned someone into way back at the start? Grem might like that, or any other magic diggy things we have. Also ask if they still have working rockets and whether they could make it to the moon with some magical modification maybe.
Mostly echo Sonic on the projects except
1. replace R&D Coven with End of the world party.
2. move (4) from Refugee camp to Comm Center

Two things: First I can definitively say there are no rockets. The silos were abandoned, and even if they weren't people live along the edges now, so that would be really awkward.
As mentioned in the edits, Comm Center was actually already done this chapter, I just forgot to remove it from the list at the end.
