I had such a great time working on this piece with Maziurek. When I say "working on", I just mean that it was fun to come up with ideas together while she (she? I've been wrong before hehe) did all of the actual work, haha. I loved the photo references that Mazi provided during our conversation which consisted of a few settings from their home country. It was neat to see places and things from another place that perhaps nobody in my country or city has ever seen, even if they were simply every-day objects and such. I really enjoyed the thought process we went through to settle on a scene--discussions of abstract art with inspiration from master artists and all.
