One of my favorites tropes in art, and I wish it had a name, is taking something ugly, creepy, or otherwise not cute and... trying to make it cute! So I took a scallop and turned it into a diaper bab. I didn't want to make her look TOO far off from the source material, so she still has the hooked teeth a bunch of blue, beautiful eyes on more places than just her head.

(Possibly) Fun Fact: Her colors were taken from actual scallops. It was hard for me to find a color combonation that worked but I think it turned out ok. Also if you think scallops are creepy or boring, look up a video of how they move around. I promise you it's adorable.
