“The source of all the whispers echoing through the bayou resides within the Malicious Melodies Theater. Tongues Speaker Hippo tells many dark stories with his multiple mouths, seeking to corrupt and strike fear into those who pass by.”
My god, this one took a long while to work with. I mean what could be an easy concept for a hippo known best for long winded stories? That said, I did make use out of it with a somewhat’Tales from the Crypt’ viewpoint. As I went from there, the concept evolved from just a corpse telling stories, to a multiple mouthed creature inhabiting the corpse of a hippo. Not my best work but I can’t bring myself to hate it. With what I had to work with, it’s certainly the best work I could do for old Mr. Hippo.
