Feud at Skeltz

1- Back in the day the world thought of peace like weakness and cowardice, when murders abounded and all kinds of bloody excesses were considered normal. Two families fought for dominance within a small burg of Bohemia named Skeltz.

Within this city ruled the Kotzienkos family, it was the active and visible power who allied with the rich and the noble. Its power was only contended by the Redzelczkis family, who allied with the poor and the artisans and not so wealthy merchants, but also controlled assasins and thieves. (1 page)

2- The reasons they fought were perhaps as political as personal but it would become as personal as it could be within this generation, the culprits of the escalation of conflict were a young man, Ratislav, and also a woman just in age for marriage, Julja

Ratislav, from the Kotzienkos was in love with Julja of the lowly Redzelczkis, they loved themselves very much but their love was secret, impossible and frankly forbidden. (1 page)

3- Ratislav had a plan thou, his family had a literal and quite real guardian angel, Belobog, who made a bargain with him, Ratislav would become a steed of heaven, a Pegasus, for a short while, in order to fly to heaven with Julja, but first he had to chant the spell and tell her of the plan so everything worked well. (1 page)

4- He was foolish and optimistic while he walked unguarded on the streets of Skeltz when a group of lowlives kidnapped him.

Julja kept on waiting on his beloved to no avail, until she learned the truth, he has captured and he was going to be used to ask for ransom and humiliate the mayor, his father, into submission. In case all failed or even if it succeed he was going to be sacrificed. (1 page)

5- Juljas family had a dark secret to their success, they had a pact with the demon Chernabog, he appeared before Julja, he told her he could set her beloved free for a fee, she would change into a hellhound, irrational, powerful, bent for destruction of all goodness but she would have the chance to save Ratislav.

Distraught and in tears, helpless to save him without this resource, she foolishly accepted. As she did flames came out of her mouth, eyes and ears (1 page)

6- Her clothing was burned to ash and she crouched in her four limbs, all the while her muscular frame became large and heavy (1 page)

7- She gained mass to become as big and strong like a stocky horse but her build was definitely canine, a monstrous creature out of this world. (1 page)
8- Her hands and legs because dog like, with curved claws protruding from her paws that were longer and sharper than daggers. (1 page).
9- Then her neck became longer, her lovely hair became a mane (1 page)

10- And her face twisted until she resembled a dog from hell, fire bursting from her muzzle (1 page)

11- She ran into the tower Ratislav was at and screams of terror were heard as she butchered her opponents with fangs, claws and bloody terror. The guards that were with Ratislav left him alone while this happened, giving him much needed time for him to cast his own spell. (1 page)

12- He removed his clothing first, closed his eyes, as his face rearranged into that of a horse, it was painful, but he didn't open his eyes (1 page)

13- He fell and couldn't stand up, his hands and feet were rearranging into hooves (1 page)

14- and his body inflating and gaining mass while muscles and bones rearranged (1 page)
15- Until a silvery, pure shining light horse was where a man once were (1 page)

16- But then his back grew lovely but gigantic pigeon wings (1 page)

17- He opened his green eyes, relieved from the pain, as his own eyes turned large and of the color of the honey, the Pegasus mark (1 page)

18- When Julja reached Ratislav, neither recognized each other. They fought valiantly, Julja being a more brutal and physical fighter that could use fire from hell
19- While Ratislav used flight and heavenly magic and his own hooves and body to tackle

20- They both ended quite wounded until finally Julja was the victor, because sadly one blow she delivered was fatal

21- Not being able to retain his Pegasus form, Ratislav shifted into human again (1 page)

22- Julja saw him, love and recognition return to her burning eyes and she turned to human again. Her wounds were not fatal while being a hellhound but they now were once she was a woman

Both were dying, but before they did, they promised each other a happy ever after in heaven or hell (1 page)

23-Belobog the angel and Chernabog the demon arrived at the scene. Chernabog was pleased at all the destruction Julja caused and planned to extend her life to keep her as her demonic pet (1 page)

24-Belobog plan was simpler, to send the couple to heaven where they would be angels. Both the demon and the angel fought over the pair (1 page)

25-Belobog was the victor, but he saw the dying lovers and he wept tears of compassion and decided to heal them. But by doing so, he did something not on the divine will and he paid dearly for it. (1 page)

26-Belobog vanished from this plane, never to return again. Chernabog also vanished but his curse still lingered on Julja, who would turn to hellhound from time to time to infuse terror into the hearts of men. (1 page)

27-Ratislav never lost Belobog blessing to become Pegasus and even as Julja was part demon now and he part angel, their love didn’t pollute or die out, the proof of this is that the pair married and had kids. (1 page)

28- Julja would sometimes lean to darkness Ratislav was there for her to comfort her and sometimes fight her into submission when she completely lost control, but this time, their fights were never to the death.

29-Their children too inherited their parents curses and blessings, bearing the marks of light (1 page)
