Piece done for fun... and to have more material for my upcoming annual artbook.

Inspiration comes in all shapes and forms. This was started when I was watching the episode of Futurama where the crew of Planet Express found themselves on the planet of giant Amazon women (one of my favorite episodes, BTW). One of the women was wearing an outfit that I'd always liked so I wanted to try drawing an anthro in a similar outfit.

The tiger striped dragon idea... well, I've always liked dragons with markings inspired by big cats, so a tiger striped dragoness was a natural choice.

She does have a name... Takura Suntail.
I don't know if I'll be drawing her again or not... I just like designing characters.
