Gosh, this picture's different, innit? Took me longer than normal too. I've been trying to use colors other than my normal for art. Don't know if I succeeded or not. But here's some frens on a walk to put a thing in a place.
From left to right, we have:
Dyne. Half kobold, half machine, all anxiety. She's all for helping people (hence the choice of career), as long as it doesn't involve helping people. As long as she is left alone to do her magic, she can repair and debug all kinds of electronics. Mechanical stuff is also in her field, but she prefers wires to pipes. She gets distracted easily, though...
Peter. They're actually a bit short for their species, whatever that might be. Making sense of a world that has been built upon, shattered, and slowly rebuilt, can be a difficult task. Priests do the job of answering big questions when information is scarce. With the recent setup of the village's comms tower, information is going to become a lot cheaper. Currently, Peter is trying to figure out where they and their previous ideas about the world fit in with what Selene and Dyne have told them.
Selene. Someone has to write things down, and Selene looks to be the 'bold to do it. Part of the early Cloudmaker project was about putting oral stories, histories, recipes, etc. into writing. The world was dying, and the weatherman wanted to listen to it while it lasted. Even now, the records division needs people who can learn new languages, hear new things, and record it all. Selene's grasp on the local language is a bit shaky, which is why she mixed up left and right a few intersections ago.
Plus, a cameo by Electro, who is possibly one of my oldest characters.
