Yup another of my many what if? human evolution scenarios. ^^ Well as usually I'll do a Species index for em and then a bit on the individual shown.

The Astrayoe are a completely space dwelling subspecies of humanity. Through natural adaptation and genetic augmentation the Astrayoe are now well adapted for both low and zero gravity environments. They are an intelligent and logical subspecies. That said they are not without emotion. They merely have better control over it then most human subspecies. This is likely due to the much larger brain size. The Astrayoe also have larger eyes which can see in much more of the light spectrum. They also have remarkable lung capacity. They can breath atmospheres that would quickly make a human collapse and can hold their breath for up to five hours. Their skin is even resistant to extreme pressure changes and cold. An Astrayoe could survive the vacuum of space for up to half an hour. They are most comfortable in Zero gravity though can function easily in low gravity. However they have difficulty operating in earth standard gravity and may require a support system to operate normally. Culturally the Astrayoe are an open and progressive group with high values on science, logic, and history. They have few taboos in their culture. They are not a very religious group either. Most hold no supernatural beliefs while others only the most loose and vague of them. This has made them quite unpopular with some of the more religious subspecies. Though given that those subspecies have forgone interstellar technology in most instances the danger of violent actions from them is negligible.

Ryxis here is a young Astrayoe currently living aboard station colony. Here we can see him in one of the colon station's observation bubbles watching the ships come and go. Being an Astrayoe it is likely he will one day be one of the explorers on one of those ships. His manner of dress is common for his species. Though toileting devices can be made that function adequately in zero gravity many view this as a simpler solution that takes up far less space and with recycling technology next to no resources beyond the starting materials. The two Gauntlets he wears are micro computer devices able to project holographic interfaces.
