Riv looked out over the barren planes below the precipice where he stood. The wind and rain tugged at his coat and whipped the banner he held in his left hand so hard that it could be heard over the almost deafening roar of the thunder storm.
He had come a long way to reach this place and fought many battles but the end was finally in sight. So with a strong heart and his blade by his side he made a silent vow to himself.
