You can think what you want about actually creating a whole city/world in sketchup and where the whole thing will head artwise, but anyway, this is a part of the city where the comic will take place. Just rough shapes and volumes....if you didn't get that, it's not like I'll just position the camera where I want and draw characters over it..haha, NOT that easy...sadly. But I'll definately use it for perspective refs and in other ways, just not directly.

As for what all this is about, well, some of you might think;
"hell, just draw the characters and the action and just slap on a random city/forest/livingroom *insert other required backdrop here* background and be done with it.

Hmm, maybe so, but to me it's also about the place, the world. You know, "folklore". Everything should take place at a given location which can be referred to. But that's just me.
